    Hi guys,

I have built my last few PCs, however over the last 2/3 years, have kinda fallen out of touch with what's going on in terms of components and so on. I could spend a few days reading up on it all to re-familiarise myself, or I could try to cheat and get some help ;)

Anyway, I'm interested in replacing my old large rig which is starting to die with something a bit more compact. Key requirements are small, fast, quiet as possible. I'm going to be mainly playing games - Dragon Age, FFXIV, Skyrim, Alien Isolation. I'm not looking to play Crysis at 1440P or anything, but I would like those games to look as good and smooth as possible. Any advice much appreciated.

    1. What is your budget? €1,000 will stretch a few 100 more if absolutely needed - so a bit extra RAM, good nVidia card etc would be nice

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? No

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? Yes - don't need SSD or HD, keyboard, mouse

    5. Do you need a monitor? Could upgrade - any suggestions?

5a. If yes, what size do you need. 24'

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? See above

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? No

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? No

    8. How can you pay? Any & all

    9. When are you purchasing? within the next week

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? n/a
