Officejet 4620 all in one not powering on

    I have tried to power on the above printer but when I press the power button nothing happens. When I change socket it powers on, a message on screen says something about not using the power button and the printer turns/powers itself off again. I try to press the power button again but nothing happens.

    I tried various sockets and the same thing happens, powers on, and turns itself off. The sockets are perfect curretly charging my laptop from such a socket.

    What would be the reason for this power outage ?

    Had the same problem on mine, contact HP and if its still in warranty they will RMA it.
