There's only a handful of games left. We have the players; that's a bloody good squad we have there. But I'd guess there's something not right behind the scenes. It's all very reminiscent of the last days of the Mancini era.

I don't wanna make this about Pardew and Newcastle as it's a Palace/City thread but I will say this.

Our "pathetic" budget still brought in:

Cabaye
Ben Arfa
Sissoko
Debuchy
Santon
Cisse

That is a good solid base of players to work with and despite the good first season, Pardew couldn't get these players working for him again and insisted on playing players out of position time and time again thus nullifying any creative flair we had.

I was being sarcastic with my deluded comments. Think you'll find that most Newcastle fans would be simply happy with a team that competes in every game rather than a manager who blames all and sundry ahead of himself and his tactics.

As I say, if you wanna talk Newcastle and our deluded fan base, by all means come over to the Newcastle thread.
