Hi everyone, I am looking at buying my son an outdoor playhouse. He is almost 15 months but will be 17 months by the time we are in our new house! Should I buy a little tikes one? Or Chance my arm with this Argos one?

The garden is long but narrow. The plan is to give him the patio part for now (no dogs allowed to go to loo on it!!)
    Thanks a mil :)

Looks nice and is so much cheaper than other ones I've seen. Only thing about it is that it looks quite light. We are quite high up and seem to get the worst of any stormy weather, even our shed has nearly blown over in the past so it's something I'd have to take into account anyway.

January do you dismantle it during winter?

No we turn it on its side and put weights in it so it doesn't blow away lol

We use one of the Ikea tents in the summer as a playhouse for them. It folds up for the winter, or it can be put inside. Just an option if storage is an issue...

So I never bought the playhouse or that house we were sale agreed on!!!

So after a lot of research I think a wooden playhpuse would be better. The weather is so bad here let's face it he has hardly been in the back garden but a girl in work said her lads have been playing in their wooden house loads:) she had put carpet on the floor and has little table and chairs in there and toys! She bought hers secondhand on done deal. our garden in our house we ended up buying is wide so space isn't an issue. Don't want one too big though as we hate flat pack. Also want one brand new! It is actually my guy's birthday so I want to get him one.

Any recommendations ? Saw this website http://www.waltongardenproducts.ie/playhouses-and-outdoor-toys/playhouses&Sort=2

We used gardenplay.ie - have a show room just off M50.

Make sure you get one you can all fit in :) and paid 200e for some bloke to build it. Took him about 4 hours. Took a few weeks for delivery but very happy
