I hear you and I am not arguing either, just normally with the DLC release they have the multiplayer maps with the zombie DLC at the end, that's the great thing about COD we normally get 2 or 3 different types of game that appeal to different types of players!

Well this is the end of the original zombies storyline (obviously there will be more zombies in future though - as Blundell stated, this is only the beginning) and this will be the last time, we will see the original 4 characters. So they had to make this DLC stand out for "zombies".

I picked up the game again this week after a 2-3 week hiatus due to a house move

I feel like some of my old reliable classes don't have the same impact. I suspect there's been some patche(s) that may have nerfed old favourites

Can anyone fill me in on what the top tier weapons are at the moment?

6pm for map pack 4 on PS4 I take it they will switch off double XP at that time. New maps look great according to Driftor they should have released this as DLC 1 or 2 as this is the best map pack of the 4!

Of the previews / trailers, this is what I think (some gameplay or release would be lower or higher)

Awakening: 7/10
Eclipse: 6/10
Descent: 8/10
Salvation: 8/10

Couldn't sleep said I'd try a few games and PSN is down. Tried the maps out against bots.

Rupture is huge. Playing 1v8 bots couldn't find them half the time

Outlaw (standoff) plays similar. The low walls obv mean nothing as you can just jump and shoot over them

Micro before PSN went down played a couple of games on this. Quirky but I'll get bored of it is say.

Citadel liked this one. Loads of ways to get flanked shot in back and the sniper spot over B Dom is a pain

Mostly the Dec maps as usual the map packs have some badly designed maps that are a straight skip for me. The core 13 maps are the best designed as some have pointed out it would be great to be able to turn off the dlc maps like you could in MW3

Since I'm not playing MWR anymore due to SUPPLY DROPS and cosmetic **** :mad: and I've barely played IW since release, I went back to Black Ops 3. Since the game is still being updated, I thought that I would start posting in this again.

Update 13/12/2016, 15/12/2016:

- A new feature called Newton's Cookbook was added into Zombies where you can craft GobbleGums for other GobbleGums, they change within 12 hours. But it not only costs GobbleGums to craft the other GobbleGums, it also costs Distills which you can buy out of COD points or get 30 for free every 12 hours I think it is.
- New Black Market weapons, LV8 Basilisk (Assault Rifle), HLX 4 (Submachine Gun) and Raven Eye (Melee)
- New Black Market specialists gear and gestures
- Fixes:

MULTIPLAYER

General:

Updated visual presentation of Black Market items:

Not-yet-obtained Black Market items (weapons, specialist heads/bodies) will be visible in menus with no shader overlay.

Treyarch announced on a live stream on Facebook on Wednesday that they would continue updating Black Ops 3 if the player base right now is on par in 2017 as it is now. This will obviously mean more Black Market specialist gear, gestures, taunts and weapons. But could we also get content in zombies I wonder?

Anybody got any helpful advice on how to do longer and bigger jumps on modern warfare remastered?I have seen videos with people doing bigger jumps. I can't seem to do this

I know people often don't play the campaigns, but good lord, Black Ops 3 is hands down the worst COD campaign since....well, possibly ever? I got about two hours in and had to turn it off, it's totally insufferable - confusing, boring, generic enemies and is just zero fun to play. Really disappointed as I liked Black Ops 2 and the first game was a masterpiece, probably my favourite COD campaign. Would be interested in hear what other people thought of it though?

By comparison I played Infinite Warfare campaign recently and thought it was excellent as well.

I think the majority of us can agree that BO3 is the worst campaign.

I'm so pissed off by how crap it is, because I picked it up specifically for the campaign! I can't understand how Treyarch could mess it up so badly after making two excellent campaigns prior to this - even the voice acting in BO3 is terrible (apart from maybe Christopher Meloni and Katie Sackoff) and lacks any conviction or sincerity. The main character sounds like an amateur actor reading lines off a page with zero context. It's just such a mind mindbogglingly terrible mess and the first COD campaign I've ever turned off.

I had a stockpile of cryptokeys lying around so had a go at it last night and zilch. From seeing a video on youtube it seems like the M16 is more or less the same as the XR-2 (even has auto burst)

Just two days ago, the Brazilian actor for Edward Richtofen in zombies posted this on his Instagram:



After the community noticed, he removed anything that he put about Black Ops 3, zombies and Richtofen in his post. A few moments later, he just deleted the post completely :P OR it could have been taken down by Activision since they're very good at censorship.

Voice acting is one of the last things to do when developing a game so why would they be recording voices right now? New content for Black Ops 3! It's just supply drop weapons, how? Why would they be bringing zombie characters' actors into the studio to record? It's just a voice pack for multiplayer. Why would Richtofen be voicing multiplayer, like how does that make sense? Give up DLC 5 non believers and haters, DLC 5 is real. Not officially confirmed yet but it's hard to not believe in it after this.

Also, a zombies YouTuber named CharlieZombies interviewed this actor as well as the actor for Tank Dempsey. Richtofen's actor mentioned in the interviewer some things to do with the quotes he was recording. Three of his quotes involving "anti gravity", "theatre" and "Space Monkeys". Anti gravity could be referring to Der Eisendrache's Undercroft in Der Eisendrache itself or Revelations. Theatre could be referring to the Kino portion of Revelations. But what can Space Monkeys be referring to? There is no Space Monkeys or any relatable things on them in Black Ops 3 at all. If you played Black Ops 1 zombies, you would know that the Space Monkeys are boss zombies on Ascension. This could mean ASCENSION REMASTERED!

This special edition of Black Ops 3 comes with a new DLC called Zombie Chronicles it says that features EIGHT classic remastered maps with the GobbleGum function. Now that is bleeding crazy, EIGHT maps!?
They made it available to pre-order. A youtuber named Vesk indeed pre-ordered it. Yes, he actually did. The release date of 31/12/2017 on the thing is obviously a placeholder date. If you don't know the actual release date of something, it's obvious that there's going to be a placeholder date.

Plenty of people have been asking other retailers in other countries like GAME and even sites like Amazon. Many of them are saying that they are not sure but they'll word on it today (Monday). Although GAME said that it's real and it's expected for release on 27th June. The 27th June is a pretty good date for release.

TheGamingRevolution, a zombies youtuber, put up a video on DLC 5 is 100% real about two months ago but nobody believed him. He said he had a source that showed him it was 100% real and GlitchingQueen, another zombies youtuber said that she saw the source and that it is very credible. Nobody still believed him or her. We did not get to see the source that they were talking about so we don't know. However, with all this information now about DLC 5 about voice actors coming to record which by the way, other voice actors including the French actor for Tank Dempsey recorded in January, retailers putting up things like Zombie Chronicles etc, it is so hard to not believe in DLC 5.

8 remastered zombie maps though!? That is way too hard to believe. I'll believe in a DLC 5 with 4/5 remastered maps but 8, no, that's way too much. But I would love if it was 8 maps!

Revelations, DLC 4, was completed before DLC 3, Gorod Krovi so could DLC 5 be what they were working on all this time?

Jason Blundell said in the live stream back on December 14th that "He cannot say anything..... right now". Could this be what he was hiding from us?

Second last thing, in MrDalekJD's interview with Jason Blundell last Summer, he did ask him if we will see the staffs in future. He did not specifically say DLC 4. Jason Blundell said "I think we will". Could he be referring to this potential Origins remaster in DLC 5?

The last zombies comic is set to release in about a month or two. We have gotten a new Moon, Ascension, Nacht der Untoten/Mob of the Dead and Kino der Toten/Verruckt loading screen. Could these maps be the ones remastered? Though, I would not frankly like to see a Nacht der Untoten or Verruckt remaster.

Surprised nobody has mentioned this. Now that it's Sunday, you only get to play this awesome thing for just one more day. This weekend, Treyarch put up a playlist called Blackjack's Gun Game. In this variation of Gun Game, you get to use DLC weapons instead of base weapons. You also get double cryptokeys with the mode.

After all these leaks, Black Ops 3 DLC 5 is 100% real! Actual confirmation by Jason Blundell, the director at Treyarch himself will be shown on JCBackfire's YouTube channel this Thursday! I am absolutely in love with Jason right now. I take back everything bad I've said about him. Hyped as ****!!! Of course, none of you are real zombies fans so why would you care. CharlieIntel says it's 100% legit and that JCBackfire is not trolling us. So it's not a troll in case any of you say that.

Zombies Chronicles was revealed by the man himself Jason Blundell yesterday on JCBackfire's YouTube channel. It will indeed be having the above named maps remastered in Black Ops 3 zombies. They will be faithful recreations and are not just reskins of the old maps. They didn't want to change much of the maps for the remasters as they want the new zombies players that just joined in Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 2 to experience the same experience we got to with the maps.

In the link below, you will find a poster which you can magnify into. This is literally the best thing the zombies community could have ever been received by anybody. The poster explains the whole zombies storyline since World At War to Black Ops 3 and answers so many questions like Who is the Pentagon Thief from Five? (The answer is Yuri!)

Zombies Chronicles will be coming first to PS4 and on May 16th. My guess that it will be coming to Xbox One and PC on June 15th. This coming Monday, the 8th of May, Treyarch will be doing a live stream to talk about Zombies Chronicles more in depth and maybe showing a trailer in it as well as some gameplay?

Zombie Chronicles is not included in the Season Pass and will cost €29.99 pre order up on PSN store. Bit of a rip off then again it's Activison.

Youtubers who got to play Zombies Chronicles early have shown gameplay of Moon Remastered today and will show a map each day up until the release on Tuesday, May 16th next week. Tomorrow, they're going to reveal gameplay of Origins Remastered.

Zombies Chronicles is 30 euro or $30. I am very happy to pay 30 euro as Treyarch have worked so hard on this DLC. If it were free with the season pass, I would actually feel bad because for all the hard work they have done on the pack. Here's all the things I have heard about so far regarding the maps and Zombies Chronicles.

• The Gersch Devices & QEDs are back
• The Zap Guns/Wave Gun are back
• Galil and M16 are in the maps they were on
• You have to turn the power on before getting the perk in No Man's Land
• The Ray Gun Mark 2 is in every remastered map
• GobbleGums are in every remastered map, including some new ones
• The M1911 does not return with the MR6 on every map as the starting pistol EXCEPT Origins where the Mauser C96 returns
• The PPSh-41 returns on Verruckt and Shi No Numa (I'm not sure about Nacht der Untoten and 99% unlikely will be on The Giant)

When you go into a new game of zombies from now on in any of the maps, the first hit on the GobbleGum machine will be free. Also, this coming weekend, the second Black Ops 3 community contract will happen and you can get calling cards, a camo and something else I forgot. You can play Multiplayer OR Zombies to achieve them as a community.

Id love to see a standalone zombies game but for now i guess this is the next best thing.

Bought BO3 just for zombies but got bored after a few weeks with only one map to play. Never bothered with the season pass after that as i thought the rest of the game was terrible but i will be picking this up. Have a decent group of 4 that played zombies regularly and we all hope to get back to it when this releases

I'm very late but Nuk3jacked is a special weekend playlist that will expire at 10am PDT tomorrow. It's a playlist where Nuk3town and Skyjacked are the only playable maps.

Also, the Triple Play (10 rare supply drops, 1 ranged weapon bribe & 1 melee weapon bribe) for 2500 COD points is back for the same time. You can also earn it through a contract for 100 wins - which can only be achieved during this weekend :mad: and up to 10 am PDT.

I bought the Triple Play for 2500 COD points and got the HLX 4 SMG along with the Enforcer melee weapon. Not bad ones at all, they're two of the weapons I wanted.

A new "extras" camo was added yesterday to Black Ops 3 called the Cosmic camo. It was literally the Into the Void camo (Revelations Pack a Punch camo) but green instead. It was removed immediately however.

Its codename is the same as the Gorod Krovi Dragon Fire camo which we got awarded for by completing the community contract except it says "event 2" in its codename. Another community contract possibly?
