Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Going to be idle in Belfast for a few hours tomorrow.

    Any good routes?

I looked at the Divis climb but traffic on Google streetview looks a bit mental.

Are you going as a British man or an Irish man?

For about four hours I will be without any national identity.

Divis is generally fine, never had a problem with traffic though can be busy at times until you turn off the A55 onto the Upper Springfield road (B38).

To be honest, unless your on the outskirts of Belfast you will have traffic, its a small compact city with lots of cars. Only other option is to take greenway or Lagan towpath but they can be full of walkers and dogs and more hassle than they worth.

Head up towards the Craiganlet hill or out towards Saintfield. If in West Belfast up over the Black mountain is nice but not as scenic as you'd expect.

Agree with all this. In my year there I couldn't really find a great route to cycle within Belfast proper. I'd head down the towpath (be prepared to take it quite slowly) and then pick a route south of Lisburn instead.

Here's a Strava file for the Towpath if you want - https://www.strava.com/activities/130826909
