Depends on which Parcel motel people used. I got mine on Saturday using the Belfast depot. I have friends who used the Dublin depot and they still have't checked in yet. Games were sent Friday afternoon in both cases.

Thats a bit mad. The whole point of PM for these things is to avail of the fast one day shipping to Belfast knowing that you'll get it the same day PM do. If you choose Dublin it goes via snail mail direct to Dublin thus taking ages. May as well got it sent to their house!

    Is it possible to
    save the undercover agent
in the first mission , didn't seem possible for me and maintain stealth/passive. Are there consequences for that I wonder.

Enjoying it so far but aug vision uses the battery way to fast and the minimum battery is too slow to recharge imo.

    I saved him
and I met him afterwards in my HQ where he told me he was going back undercover.
Just watched video and they were able to save him without any kills by sneaking straight to
    helicopter

Thats what I was going for alright, but all hell was breaking loose , reloaded 4 or 5 times and
he died shortly after exiting the lift
no matter which side I ran down.

Has this unlocked on Steam yet? It's telling me it won't unlock until the day of release.

    ** Edit **

Never mind, it worked at the third time of asking. Says it has to download an update now but nothing is happening.

For those playing on PS4 , there is a Deus ex preset in the headset companion app.

Edit: Also just seen on Reddit that the day one content ie. Guns and ammo can only be redeemed once meaning you can't redeem them on second save file

Well, they've managed to make a balls of basic mouse inputs. My sensitivity in-game is INSANELY high, making me spin in circles if I move at all. If I tweak the in-game sensitivity all the way to zero and drop the DPI on the mouse I can then aim relatively well in-game, but the mouse is utterly unusable in the game menu (including inventory) - like, it barely moves at all.

How hard can getting basic input settings be?

Should I be going for mission 3 or 4 first? I've spent about an hour trying 3 undetected and failing and get to a point where I feel I shouldn't be there yet.

3 as you need to get your augs up and running again and upgrade them with the Praxis kits you should have by then. Once you do mission 3 all your systems are back up running properly.

Game is awesome, just fapping about with side missions in Prague.

It looks like it's going to be really good but I can barely play because of the mouse input issues. Are other PC players having this?

EDIT: The official forums say that a "Mouse Acceleration issue" is being investigated. I really hope it's a quick fix and I can play tomorrow.

Is the game crashing for anyone else on PC? I have just played 30 minutes so far and the game has crashed twice now.

Yup, it's rendering it almost unplayable for me too!

Some information for those who have bought the Season Pass and/or pre-ordered the game: the items you receive as bonus DLC (Praxis kits, guns, credits, armour) are a one-time use only . This means that if you start a new game, retrieve those items from storage, use them, and then decide to restart the game (harder difficulty, for example), you will no longer have those items.

Nobody knows if this is a bug and will be fixed in a patch, but (for our convenience...) Square Enix have provided a micro-transaction store to buy these items again.

Solution: When you start the game for the very first time (preferably the hardest difficulty) immediately make a savegame and use this to start all future playthroughs so you can retain those bonus items for each playthrough.

Wow micro-transactions in the single player game. Say it 'aint so. Absolutely disgusting if you ask me. Strangely not mentioned in most reviews I perused suggesting they were kept out of the review code.

Micro-transactions are a non-issue for me. Nobody is holding a gun to my head telling me that I can't complete the game unless I spend €10 on Praxis Kits. There are people who will spend money on micro-transactions, that's their choice. However, what does annoy me is the one-time use for the bonus items we were given for pre-ordering or buying the Season Pass. As far as I can tell, neither the Steam store page nor the Season Pass page clearly state that these bonus items are a one-time use. I don't know any other game that offers you bonus content for one-time use only. Hell, if you go back and play Deus Ex: Human Revolution you will receive the bonus items for each playthrough, like every other game that has a similar incentive.

They need to rectify the page or else it is false advertising. If you follow their logic, after I listen to the soundtrack I expect it t delete itself from my computer. Of course, this could all be a misunderstanding and a bug. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Some review and my initial look at some gameplay indicate that the game gets easier the more you play?
I think I saw there being health regen enabled too, is this just on the easy difficulty setting?

Looks beautiful all the same and the open-world Prague allows for extra exploration.

Yeah was reading to start on hard difficulty to get the most enjoyment. How are ye finding difficulty so far lads?

Finding it relatively easy so far, on the hardest setting.
If you take your time and go stealth rather than assault it's fine, there is a challenge but nothing horrible. I'm still early on and ave focused on side quests so it may step up shortly.

How are the boss fights for anyone that far? I'm only on mission 2. I remember I nearly flung my controller at the tv last time.

A few games down the line and suddenly having slipped these "not necessary" micro-transactions passed us without any major complaint suddenly med kits will be a tad rarer just to test the line. See how far they can push it to increase sales by 10%. A few games more and see if we can force maybe 20% more players into buying a pack of 10 lock picks because for some reason they are very thin on the ground. Sorry it's blatant slippery slope territory to my eyes but I'm obviously alone in this opinion. Fair enough.

The very first micro-transaction was in the Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - Horse Armour. It was released in April 2006. More than 10 years later this mechanism is still going and I have yet to find a game that prevents me from enjoying it to completion without paying a small fee for an item or crucial feature.

Most micro-transactions are done in a sensible and tasteful manner: cosmetic items. And, unfortunately, there are idiots out there who will pay €2 per skin for a virtual item. You can not control the forces at play seeking to make a buck or two from those susceptible to bullshít. We have, however, seen examples of community pressure to change micro-transactions and payment options - PayDay 2. If this kind of support can be mustered up for cosmetic items, then I have pity for the PR and Marketing department of the first publisher who introduces micro-transactions to win in single-player games.

If your faeces had a market and was worth money, are you saying you wouldn't sell it? :pac: As long as they are cosmetic items, then let the whales pump the publisher full of money in the hope of then re-investing that back into the developer for real content.

Those who purchased from the game collection, roughly how long do they take with delivery?

Depends on if you used Parcel Motel or not. With Parcel Motel it takes probably day and a half (mine was dispatched on Friday midday and was in my Parcel motel by late Saturday night). If going to Irish address usually 2-3 days I think.
