Abbey Hill to Bell harbour/Bealaclugga

Intending a short walk (an hour or so) from Abbey Hill to Bealaclugga and another short walk around Doolin.
Was told you basically just follow the signposts to Bealaclugga and that is the easiest ever.
Is that true or have I be misinformed?

There is a "green road" running from the east side of Abbey Hill that rejoins the N67 north of Bell Harbour.

So you would still have a bit of a walk on the N67 into Bell harbour. Alternatively you could go up an over the top and drop to Corcomroe abbey but you would need to be comfortable with crossing (ocassionally unstable) stone walls.
