Very nice. Just needs the rear plate changed to a red one.

What do folks think of the price?

Needs a front plate too...plates didnt have a 'dash' back then, i.e it should read: 8998 ZX, not..8998-ZX
    Minor detail, easily sorted.

Its a nice looking jeep - would be tempted if I had the space!

If it's as good underneath as on top and if the log book checks out, then yeah, I think it's worth the money. Looks pretty much as new in those photos.

(BTW What's the betting someone rang up looking to buy the logbook for €50)

That looks good, needs a set of sunraysias, ramair, roobars, arches and a lightbar.

    And maybe a V8

That Landcruiser is currently taxed but it has never been NCTd.

Surely it'll have a CVRT and not NCT?

How can one check if it has been nct' doe doe'd before? Sorry if that's been asked before, would be very useful though!

    Doe?

    Doh!

    Insert Homer graphic here.

Just put it in a very dry shed, and wait for the Japanese economy to turn around.

    Not your ornery onager

My bad. Didn't spot is was a commercial. Doesn't have CVRT either though and hasn't had one for 8 years. Nice looking vehicle but I would be extremely careful buying it.

In both cases, just enter the reg and Bob's your uncle :)

My dad used to drive us around in one of those. Very cool.

    He's not called Jim, though.

Old Landcruisers of any description are just notoriously expensive here (think BJ40 etc...) but I can't really comment

I'm just waiting for my 1981 BJ40 to comeback from a nut and bolt restoration. I can't wait!

You should really consider restoring more than just the nuts and bolts on a car that old. ;)

Have you got a pic ? Did you import it from Australia?

    Hi lads,
    @26000 Elephants, lol

It's a one owner Irish Land Cruiser. In the family since it was driven out of Carroll & Kinsella in 1981, they've since tried to buy it back on a number of occasions but it's being restored to its former glory to stay in the family for at least 35 more years. We've been told it's rather unique for this reason. We actually went to the auction of the McCabes one that Paddy Connolly bought for 42000 plus buyers premium, and that's an Indonesian import and rebuilt in the USA for a rumoured $90000. Can't wait to get ours back now. I'll post up pics when she gets home.

    Regards,

    Bus Boy

    Here is an unusual one

1960's RHD Pontiac wagon. They made a few of these for the Aussie and UK market, and one ended up in Kerry. Would want to be very clean and original, asking for mad money.

I like the gto style double deck lights. This could be bad ass....:)
