One of my Vegas stories (this one from 2010).....

I went to the concierge in my hotel one day to ask about tickets for a show. He asked was I Irish and I said yes. After welcoming me etc., he said "Well as you're Irish I'm guessing you want tickets for Garth Brooks?". The expression on my face indicated to him that no, I wasn't a GAA-following, spud-munching, hang-sandwich eating mucksavage and that I actually had taste in music.

Yeah it's a scam with those women, I got caught out once and after making the same mistake each night for a week I finally learned my lesson
