    Finished chapter 6

I'm about halfway through Chapter 6 myself. This game is simply incredible.

If you get an offence like disturbing the peace the cops just tell you to move on out of the area. If you don't, they'll open fire.

Also it's possible to start fights with people and not get cops after you.

I run into people and knock them over and they start on me then.

So did I. I was really taking my time but once you hit the end of Chapter 4 you are going to want to blitz through the the story. Believe me. Also, I want to finish it before online launches.

    Half way through Chapter 8
    epiloge 2

Liking the focus on the characters I like. Also, building John's house mission, fantastic.

So glad I didn't waste time trying to craft the different satchels. You can just buy them from a fence now. Although, no money, that all disappeared after chapter 6.

The guy is still trying to find Gavin and has gone mad doing so.

    What is with this
    Gavin
    thing?

I'm in Chapter 3 (might be 2) and someone keeps calling it out looking for him. I spin around and don't see anyone.

Played blackjack. Going for a five card trick and got AA223. That's pontoon I think all it got me here was 19. It's easier win money than poker but still a bit slow.

5 Card rule isn't always played, certainly not in irl casinos I've played in anyway. Where did you find blackjack in the game? I've done poker and the 2 types of dominos so far :o

Check the minimap in the corner when someone like that is shouting, should show you where the noise is coming from.

Rhodes in the saloon, upstairs. Was open at night, not sure if it is during the day. Noticed it when going in for my weekly bath.

If you match the dealer you split the pot which is fortunate.

I just blitzed through the end as the game was spoiled on this thread by a video that was posted, careful what you watch.

I am going to restart it and take my time this time as i did miss some missions in chapter two and left most of the stranger missions

I'm not gonna bother try catch any legendary fish. Did one on a mission and my finger was broke.

I've been playing the game pretty solid since launch and been really taking my time with the story, but I got to the end of chapter 4 last night...
Ynnel!!! That mission was nuts, the whole thing just turned upside down. I see what you mean by wanting to blitz through the story from there, I kept going from there on - though I suppose you have no option but to do story in Guarma. Interesting spot, nice to have a change of scenery. Some interesting parts of the map for online modes.

Love how you have a big bushy beard when you land back on the boat, really gives you the impression you were stranded on Guarma for ages. Just did the first mission in Lakay with the Pinkertons, really interested to see where the story goes now. You can definitely see Dutch starting to go off the rails.

Was playing over the weekend and got jumped by some O'Driscolls. I kept one alive, hogtied him, and took him to the nearby railway bridge. Dropped him right in the middle of a small bridge over land so I could stand near by and watch him pop. I looked around to see some scenery and when I snapped back to the O'Driscoll, I noticed he'd shaken his rope and he was just standing on the track. Arthur obviously didn't tie the knots tight enough.

So I disarmed him, bound him again, and sat watching. Once again he shook the rope and got a bullet in the head.

Is this a bug, or can people escape after being hogtied? There was no animation to give the appearance of taking off ropes, suddenly they're just gone and the victim stands up.

Spent way too long trying to get the 3 perfect rabbit pelts for the challenge last night. Can never find them when looking for them and then when I did they were never 3 star. does the herbivore bait work for them?

Whenever I think of going fishing in this game, I wish I had something electric, if you know what I mean...

My horse ran into a train I was on and died (RIP Poncho), I ran back to where the saddle was and it was on a shirty brown little horse. it was the War Horse that I got for Pre-ordering, is there any way of getting him back? I went to the stable, cant remember which one, but the only option was to buy one for 140 dollars.

I have started to bond with the Arabian. I called her Whitey Bulger after the criminal that was brutally murdered the week I caught her. She's had a few nasty tumbles and I've started feeling bad for her. We are getting on a lot better now.
I've had to use the horse revive tonic twice (once with Whitey) not sure what happens if you don't have one.

The next time somebody screws you around, hogtie them and throw a stick of dynamite at them.

I did that and it blew some fellas head and arm off. Bits of his skull all over the place.

apart from the odd accidental murder I'm trying to be good. I've paid off a few bounties but have plenty of money. the only current bounty is $15 for something I did while drunk in real life in Valentine, can't have been too bad if it's only $15

The thrown weapons in the game are by far the best for hilarity :D

Fire bottles in particular (improved even moreso) are an excellent method of waking up the members of random gang camps prior to arrival.

In a more embarrassing note - I only figured out how to use dead eye for more than one shot over the weekend, almost makes it too easy.. :o

I was riding along and I saw a campfire so I went to check it out. Saw a guy leaving to go on his horse so when he left I went to have a snoop around. He had a rabbit and a turkeyl hanging up for dinner, I skinned them both and got the perfect pelt and took the meat. Yer man will be annoyed when he comes back and his dinner is gone. :)

You click r1 to set the target, move your aim to the next target and r1 again...

Then r2 will shoot all the targets you have set.

Get dead eye going then instead of pulling the fire trigger pull the button above it (R1/RB) to put a marker on each target - then pull R2/RT to let fly
