Got in a fire fight with some bounty hunters a few seconds after I got in the boat for some fishing, and noticed the boat taking on water over thebullet holes, not sure if it would have sank or not, as soon as I had won, I paddled to shore as quick as I could.

Great little feature that.

This may have been asked already, but this thread is too quick to read everything.

Tried hunting the legendary buck last night, but kept getting 'too much activity' to be able to track it. Anyone have any idea how to resolve this? I spent 2 hours in the area last night and I could hear the fecker, but couldn't find him as I couldn't track him. I tried sleeping, saving, neither of which worked.

you need to find some of the dung or fur clues first before you can pick his track out of them

I'm on chapter 4 , and was up in Valentine and decided I'd do the dash to rhodes challenge, on the way I passed a stranger mission which I didn't make a note of and now can't find as I didn't check my map. The only one I can see on the guides as being close to the route I would have took is the dinosaur bones one but I;ve got that one. Any ideas?

Edit: I found it , it was actually part 3 of the ties that bind us.

if it says too much activity your better off going to do something else and come back in a (in-game) day or 2

This can't be done if you get the message that OP was getting.

Best thing to do if there is too much activity to track, I find is to make a camp out side of the are and just rest a few times to pass a few in game days. Usually does the trick for me.

Still struggling to come to grips with the controls. They're really bad and movement is so unresponsive, it's the exact same as GTA and it's a big shame that Rockstar haven't moved on over the years.

3rd person controls can be clunky better off switching to 1st person when on foot, especially if looting buildings or sneaking more precise.

The controls are one of those reasons I should hate it but because other stuff, I let it pass.

How do you stay up on a wild horse. I'm trying to get the Arabian horse by the frozen lake but I can't see to stay up on him for long. The instructions don't see to make much sense either

Just discovered that you are not allowed to use profanities when renaming your horse in the stables.

The usual ones are banned as you would expect.

One I did not expect though is that you cannot call your horse "Sarah Jessica Parker".:D

I am getting super bored of the travelling, the constant bashing of A or whatever button it is, to get my horse to gallop. It's the most annoying feature of the game. I measure distance in trees, how many trees will I crash into on my way to the next destination. I can get an hour of travelling in before I have to quit out.

You can change it from tapping I think.

Fúck Van Horn, seriously. Went into the bar there to see if anything was going on. Said hello to one guy and he responded with "This place was better off without you here" so I antagonised and he punched me twice.

"Okay, bar fight. Cool." I thought. Until another 4 guys inside the bar joined in with him and then I saw another 6 or 7 red blips on the map running towards the bar from outside. Got the hell out of there. They have no honour!

Pull the left stick down and move it in the opposite direction that the horse tries to go in.

If you tap in time with the horses legs hitting the ground, it's not as bad for sprinting. But to be honest, I rarely sprint unless it's for a mission. There's too much to see and do to be running past everything!
