Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Trying to decide which machine is the better platform to get it on. The videos they released so far look to be coming from the PS4 Pro.

I’ve got both so picking up the X version. I’ve got a feeling it’ll just be a higher resolution and that’s it and you won’t notice much of a difference unless side by side.

No but I think I remember something similar happened with RDR1 and GTA IV.
Avoid if that's the case because the spoiler trolls will be everywhere online.

Probably Rockstar employees/their family members.. I imagine there will be more when the review copies start going out next week

They tend to do review events and not send out copies, also they're rather picky in who they invite. The review copies they do send out are limited.

So likely it's employees and friends/family.

    Smyths are doing midnight opening

Are Ken Blacks? They're the same crowd aren't they? I don't really want to spend 70 bones with Gamestop when I can get it for 60...

Hope this guy features in the game again. His side-quests were a big highlight of RDR...

Rockstar grants terminally ill gamer's wish to play Red Dead Redemption 2

The Dutch representation of Rockstar Games went out of their way to let a terribly sick Red Dead Redemption fan play their highly anticipated sequel at his home adress.

Although Rockstar initially intended to keep their charitable efforts relatively quiet, the gamer himself felt like sharing his story and to commemorate and thank Rockstar and Take-Two for their good deed.

    Fair play Rockstar Games

They should have giving you a receipt with preorder on it. I had to pay 5 euro and the other 50 when I collect. If you can't find the receipt, I'd say check in store, they might have your details on the system.

Yea if it is online order you just go in give your name and collect it, they will scan a barcode attached to your name on a sheet they have to charge you.

They will take money from your card the day before so they know you can pay for it

So if it’s a 105gb file, how much space do I need to make on my PlayStation?

    Around 140 I think.
Hopefully it won't have a 50GB day one patch like the new COD has. But I feel that it may only be a 110 after Red Dead Online is launched.
I only realised last night that the Monday after this game is out is a bank holiday which is great timing.

That’s what my buddy is saying but I thought it was double what you actually need. It was double whenever there was updates in destiny

I should probably ask this in the PS sub

From leaks it looks like it only needs 50gbs. The 105gb was for the download and install space.

Yeah from what I've read you do need the 105GB, as it's a 50GB download and then a 50GB install, but once it installs it deletes the download file meaning it will then only be taking up approx. 50GB.

Once this game launches any game I play is going to have to be able to answer "yes" to
    - can I be a cowboy?
    - can I ride a horse?
    before I play it
starting to get caught up in the hype now, it's bound to disappoint

With the exception of the win 3 free for all in a row, all the online trophy's were fun to try and get bar the 1 grind to get max level.

I got the FFA trophy early before most people realised who stealth worked.

I did that in the last game with a pal vote booting people who joined the lobby between games until we got it.

I see some online trophies are about making a posse. I wonder if that's just forming a temp group online or if it has to do with the R* social club. Looking forward to hearing about the online side of things. One trophy is for owning 5 horses at once, just not gonna be the same as having a garage of different cars in GTA. Can't see me wanting to change horse unless there is significant difference between speed and strength.

Didn't think they'd be needed as it doesn't have anything to do with the story. If it's the gameplay mechanics of being able to own horses and/or speculation about teaming up online, then you might want to avoid the thread until release.

Mods, feel free to spoiler if required.

This is my favourite sounding trophy, I'm going to go complete bas*ard in the SP campaign anyway.

I also reckon for the posse trophies, that its something like the R* social club and people you're affiliated with there doing online heists/missions etc.
