I was wondering if anyone can confirm how to access the preorder treasure map in the game. I assume that it is les tresor des morts tressure map found in the jail cell in Limpany, unless i am missing something?

Trying to park my horse in valentine, I backed over a dog by accident. The dog lay crying in the street, awful noises coming from it but I couldn't perform any healing action on it. It died and instant bounty. I had just paid off a bounty there ffs.

Also, I found 600 dollars when Kieran

took me to o Driscoll hideout

but I don't know where the money went. I don't have it and not in the camp funds either. Anyone know where it went?

It's a shame there is no reverse on a wagon.(well none I know of anyway) I was doing the mission where you steal a

oil tank

wagon and in the mist of all the gun fire and trying to high tail it out of there without dying and wagon with crap handling I crashed into some object rocks or broken wagon or something and could not go forward and tried to reverse but couldn't so the guys shooting me killed me. Bit annoying.

Hold RB/R1. It's slow, but they reverse.

The way those missions work is if the take is 600. Half goes to the gang, not the camp. Dutch has another stash somewhere. The other half is divide amongst the team so if 3 were on the mission it's like 100 each, but Arthur gets a little bit more of the cut.

Doing a mission where you have to steal a wagon.
Walked into yard and got murdered
Twice
Wagon got stuck in gate, no reverse, dead
Got wagon out 1/2 mile down the road a rider chased me down and blew me up
Got wagon out took wrong turn just at destination, crashed into a barn, still no reverse

Although I've nothing to say for the quality of this game, I wish more games had that kind of detail. Crysis 1 did and that's more than a decade old.

Can't fault the obvious effort gone into the game's presentation that is for sure. Not sure I'd of spent development time on making it feel like such a simulation.
After over 4 hours in I find myself kinda bored playing it. I expected to be glued to the screen all weekend playing it but everytime there isn't a cutscene or journey to a destination & you actually play it the gameplay is very stiff. To the point of just moving Arthur around the world is clunky. Using cover and adjusting his speed of movement on foot in particular.
I can see why Red Dead Online ain't there at launch as it surely can't be fun to play at present.

I'm raging I'm not into it more, I want to play it but then I turn it on and something stupid happens, he moves clunky and I die, I bump off a lad and sure bounty to pay... to many little niggles add up and it's taking the fun away. Fast travel me arse, who want's to spend real time 5 mins going to a destination for it to be ****ing grey'd out!! When I'd rather play WWE 2K19 for the 2873th time or watch episodes of Home and Away I can tell I'm just not into a game.

Absolutely loving it so far. Best game of this generation and best game Rockstar has ever made imo. It has everything I want in a game: an immersive world, a compelling narrative and great gameplay.

Each animal has a ranking of 3 stars for their quality so if it is one star it will always be poor

If you study the animal (holding down R1 on ps4 on the animal you are hunting) and then select Info it tells you what weapon is needed for a perfect pelt. This along with a three star rated animal will give you a perfect pelt.

It's a real struggle early on because the amounts you get are so low. Just keep pushing on with missions when you have them and loot everyone, even on shoot outs in the wild. Some stuff like pocket watches can get $25 a piece.

Haven't played as much as I would have liked by now, the Joy's of having a 10 m/o, I think the slowness of the game is a valid criticism by some people, but I love nothing more than taking it all in as I go from point to point, I certainly wont be using fast travel..I keep losing my hat goddarnit

I got a treasure map from a Stranger and managed to find where it led, but there was just another map there to the next location. Don't know if I'll find treasure or another map there though, and don't know where this one leads either (like the first map, it's a drawing of a specific distinctive place, but just haven't come across it yet).

stealing that wagon was unbelieveably painful, kept getting killed at the start or being chased down, one time I killed the guys chasing me, was just at the destination and a guy shot me from nowhere and the thing blew up, another time I hit a tree right in front of the destination and got stuck. The last time I got caught by four of them out in the open I accidentally killed a horse in the gun fight.

Encountered a crazy bug on Xbox last night, left trigger wouldn't work, couldn't select any options or talk to people. Changed the controller layout to alternate which swaps left trigger and left bumper and all working fine again, except now shooting was all messed up. Ended up having to change the controller layout back and forth when I needed to talk to someone .

In case anyone gets it, it's elite controller related, using a normal controller avoids the issue from what I've read. Drove me nuts last night so figured I'd save other the hassle

Stealing wagon was hard but I got lucky when I shot two guards from distance the horses got scared and the wagon came out near me I just pulled away in it straight away there were about 4 guys after me had to kill them all then as I was going up to the destination another 4 guys turned up had to kill them too and then I was clear.

Did a mission and was approached by an angry man. Tried to be nice, got killed. Start again and I sneaked up and was shot dead. Next time went in all guns blazing. Got killed. Next time I decided to threaten and they were ok with this and let me in. I eventually learned.

Tried to rob another man's horse sathel. Horse gave me an almighty kick. Didn't try it again.

Lovin it so far.

I couldn't shoot when I had them on but once I flicked them off it was fine. You might have your trigger sensitivity way to low or something?
