Trouble is as it starts racing away, your horse isn't there, so you have to steal another one (the one there in front of you which has poor enough stamina). The first time I had to wait for about a minute for the mission to fail because my temp horse was nowhere near me and I had no chance of catching the wagon based on my previous attempt. The next two times after falling off I just shot the driver in order to fail and restart from the checkpoint. In the end I just skipped to the next checkpoint in the mission because I couldn't be f*cked trying that again.

This mission sucked.

I jumped off too.

And on the second try the carriage drove straight between a pair of trees and got stuck before I took control, the carriages can't reverse so I had to shoot the passenger and fall the mission intentionally to try it again.

The dominoes gambler challenge where you have to win 3 consecutive games can go to hell. It's not even possible to save after each win, when you reload your save it puts you back to zero so you have to do it in one sitting. Spent an hour playing dominoes. Twice in my third game I was leading by a huge margin, then Billy Bob comes out of nowhere and has a 57 point game.

Just discovered you can press left stick down on a horse to pat, Bonding level increases pretty quickly doing it too.

Anyone get eaten by a crocodile yet ? Was crossing a river in a swamp. Horse got spooked threw me off and I got mauled by the croc . Didn’t even get a chance to pull the gun out.
I didn’t like Saint Denis would prefer to be out in the open.

Just robbed a house there in the backarse of Lemoyne. Was the middle of the night in game, and 4 outlaws were flat out sleeping across the 2 rooms, so I decided I'd try and do it sneakily. Had nearly the whole house cleaned(so I thought), but one lad was passed out in front of the sink cabinet, and in my greed trying to get every last but gathered, I hit his leg and everyone woke up. Blasted 3 of them out of it and the 4th surrendered and gave up the hiding spot for the last bit of cash - under his pillow. Never would have checked that! I guess it pays to be a little merciful.

I helped a girl get home and she opened a bait shop in the swamps. Gonna see if she has special bate and try the legendary spot near Rhodes.

Another night of no story progress but absolutely great craic. Tamed the Arabian and kitted her out in the finest gear after selling my 3 gold bars. Took care of a famous gunslinger up in those parts for a nice new revolver. Kitted my self out like grand pappy Trevor and found a serial killers calling card. Bought a Psycho mask, can't wait to rob a shop with that. This game is fecking epic. I really do need to push on from chapter 2 though.

They went missing for me but if you progress there will be a mission and they pop back up.

Ha, no, I followed the blood trail up the hill and went around in a circle, must go back. I love these little things R* add in. The serial killer in GTA v was a great little mystery to unravel.

Lost 4 hours progress last night,fell over a waterfall killing my horse..last save was 4 hours earlier.. didnt do anything major game wise so there was no way i was starting off with a new Horse again after getting his stats up that high,Billy The Bollix rides again!

Made my way to Rhodes to find the last of the gunslingers in the Calloway story on the map and came across your man in the basement of the gunsmiths.

Had no idea how to free him, even tried to open the doors when I was in the gunsmith, that didnt work they were all locked, so I pulled the gun out hoping to intimidate an answer out of the owner.

Naturally that ended in blood shed so I decided to hide behind the counter and blast anything that came through the door, after about 10 mins, countless dead bodies stacking up at the door and no ammo left, I was bravely shot to pieces and now I've a $300 bounty in that region.

Caught the one by Iron Lake near the camp. Just buy the special lures in the fish shop in the swamp and use the lake lure.

I caught this 14lb monster fish last night in a small lake near the railway station i think in St Denis... was struggling with him for agggges!! finally reeled him in an arthur says " he doesnt look right" and my only option was to 'throw back in' ... :(

edit : forgot to add i was catching nothing from the strand so went out in a boat and caught the legendary fish further out.
