ROKU 1 info please

Hi guys First post so excuse lack of knowledge. ordered this box for my mother for ease of use. not too knowledgable about all this stuff myself. Just wondering what will work in Ireland? Don't want to be changing ip addresses or messing with vpn for her. Also can I add apps like rte player and the like

I have the Roku 3, I haven't seen RTE or any Irish stuff available. I only use it for UFC Fightpass app & PLEX, and the kids play a few videos on it.
There are tons of video channels available, mostly rubbish imo.

There is a TV3 app that they charge for :eek:
