Are you the earliest poster in the thread not already fixed up? - that's who it should go to (please read the forum charter)

Ah ok sorry about that, Beasty, how do we keep track of that?
    1) that the requester is sorted
    2) the requester is still interested in a ticket

I'm also still looking too! Not sure how the system of first come first served mentioned above is going to work !

    Hello,

I'm also looking for an entry if anyone has one going spare. Accommodation booked before Christmas but I missed out on registration and the lottery.

I passed on a spare entry to a fellow boardsie last year so hoping for a little bit of karma!

    thanks

I'm also still looking for an entry if there are any going spare.

PM sent. Regular poster seeking entry to ROK. Cycled it last year and loved it. Missed out like many others this year.

Given the scale of interest expressed in this thread I think it reasonable to give posters a short period to check back in case an entry has become available. I am going to lay down a set period of 24 hours from the poster indicating they have an entry available

OK, no-one should be taking anything to PM until a deal is agreed in thread - that's a fundamental rule here. The fact you are a "regular" ppster is irrelevant. This is your first post in this thread putting you to the back of the queue

At the front of the queue of those posters I have quoted above, who have shown their interest in this specific entry, is sillybilly, who first posted here over 3 weeks ago

Your first post in this thread was less than a week ago - 2 or 3 of the posters that I quoted above posted well before then

    Hi Beasty,

I am glad you have intervened and 24 hrs seems reasonable as not everyone can check in at regular intervals due to work commitments etc.
I have checked back and see that posters of 1 week ago have now been successful. Does that mean I am close to being accepted.
I am new to this and sometimes find it difficult to track posters accurately.
    Regards, Dom.

Dont know how the 24hr thing is going to work though, would setting a time in the evening, 21.00 hours ish work?
Anyone with a ticket offers it; the next in the list not sorted has 10mins for first refusal, then offer goes to next?
If you're looking for a ticket, make sure you're here for the "auction"?
If you get a ticket, be fair, and take yourself off the list.

    All,

I have one spare ROK entry which was booked for a friend abroad who cannot make it now.

I have the bank statement to proof that I paid €100 for each of the tickets at the time (when I booked my own).

I am looking for €100, face value payment only.

Can a Mod tell me the process to completing this exchange. Is it a face to face meeting and just exchange the ROK ticket for cash. If this is the case it would suit someone living in DUBLIN or KERRY (mid-kerry region) only for collection.

I have no access to boards.ie during work hours 07:00 to 18:00, but will reply after this time tomorrow evening.

I would hate to see it go to waste too.

You need to arrange it directly with the person looking to buy. If they cannot meet your particular requirement it goes to the next on the list

Not everyone has access at specific times - the 24 hour thing was simply to give an opportunity for anyone on the list to check back. Currently you are the earliest on the list to express an interest. On the face of it unless someone higher up the list than you gets back on joc94's entry before 13:28 today that one is yours. However joc94 has already ignored my instructions as well as forum rules (and has been carded on the back of that) and may well no longer have the entry. Clarification from joc94 on that point is required. If it is no longer available you are currently first on the list for James 007's entry - it's a matter of who expresses an interest in-thread before 2:36 tomorrow morning.

Hope this clarifies how I would hope this is going to work

Well done. I was going to do something like this, then I got lazy.

I think the first four on your list were looking for entries for last year, so they can be scrubbed.

I am interested in James 007 ticket, if no-one else higher on the list shows interest also..

Note this year, I think we need to email ROK committee to officially transfer ticket, is that true?
