I was told recently that its now a big fee for BoI customers to take money out of other banks' ATMs.

I checked round their website and can see no mention of this?

Anyone know anything that might prive this to be true?

    Hi NIMAN,

Thank you for getting in contact with us here on Boards.ie.

The fee applied to all ATM withdrawals on a Bank of Ireland personal Visa Debit Card is 25c. We do not charge extra for using your card at a non Bank of Ireland ATM within EU member states and EEA countries. Withdrawals made outside of the Euro currency zone would be subject to cross-border handling fee.

Other banks may apply their own fee and it would be best to check with the individual bank to query this.

You can find more information on our fees here and section 4 of the introduction explains ATM fees in detail.

We hope this helps clarify your query and if there is anything else we can help you with, please don't hesitate to post again.

    Elaine
