Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nice job Reggie, they're a fine machine. Is it a KG or a KE? Would you ever think of getting a 'piggy-back' for her and running the tine harrow behind if it was required? Make a great one pass with 2 independent machines. Only thing would be the extra weight out the back with a serious tail swing I guess.....

It's a KG. I'll be putting another APV airseeder for it in time
Surely cheaper to just whip up a set of brackets at home and if feeling really flush an new wiring loom and pipes?

Good man, that'll make a fine job of it. Have one as well and have been toying with getting a tine harrow lately for patching up rough spots. Got me wondering if i could mount it on the amazone as well for a serious one pass machine!!

Not really as you need another land measuring device as in landwheel or ground radar for amazone. Need another set of dispersion plates for the back of it too and after all that you would have to recalibrate the box for each machine everytime you change it over unless you get another control box for the harrow. All that after you unbolt the 16 bolts holding it onto each machine.

That's before any wiring looms or anything. Be handier just to get another seeder as most of the cost of a new one is listed above

I'll have to make the bracket holding the seeder myself anyways I'd say

The tail swing would be serious on it or imagine

Yeh and rear tires are very narrow! X6 it's a demo 5711, fairly basic model but a million times better than the current yoke I have! Plenty of 3/4yr old very fresh 5612s around also, I'll see what the sums are on a new 57 but a 2nd hand yoke is more realistic.

And I'll take a spin on the neighbours jcb loadall again before I buy anything, just to be sure ha.

    I like the new footplates.
Total engine rebuild? Or just new filters and pump/injectors done?

Nothing cheap about doing it right. Should do another 40 easily. You should get a more comfy seat though.

No chance of that happening but some of them fenders are more expensive than a tyre

It looks terrible is my biggest complaint ha!, the back wheels lost in the wheel well! Rear track is narrower than the front however, so if I was to keep it I'd simply change the spacers on the rear wheels so they sit out wider.

What happened the back window on the new Holland? That engine recon will nearly see you out so.does the Massey do much work.

That window has been broken so many times we don't replace it anymore. I think it was the slurry pump that did the damage this time. The 35 just scrapes the yard a few times a week

    Thought I posted this earlier.

    Small equipment for small farms.
Quad sprayer with 3m folding boom and hand lance. Mounted on frame from old cone fert spreader. Handy wee thing.

    And where's your back window? ? :p

Good idea. But I'd say it'd want to be left at a neighbours place if you knew an inspection was coming up. They possibly might look for a cert for it being tractor mounted?

Back window is an interesting story.

Tractor is parked up over winter as feed with other tractor.

Went into shed one day and back window was broken round the floor.

Strangely the ram and hinges had been screwed off. I recon some sap was in stealing the window and dropped it. 😱

Only if it's over 3 meters. Might just want to make sure it's 2.99 meters to be sure.

At least the suspect list should be low.
Hardly too many of those tractors in Cavan? (Just guessing).

I bought a second-hand parlour in Meath years back and one of the clusters has initials inscribed underneath on the stainless side. I don't think they were the initials of the person whom I bought it off.

Lot of International tractors around Cavan. Especially up Bailieboro way where there was a dealer.
International fans are as hardcore as any Massey or Ford man...
