Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's nice, new spool handles is well, they can be locked is well I think to avoid getting confused.

The tops if the old handles felt better as the new ones feel flimsy. They can be locked alright plus one is the float. Only thing I don't like is that the 3rd and 4th spool is worked off the loader lever you see there. That will be coming out and the quicke one going in its place

Will your loader be plumbed direct into the high pressure oil supply from the pump ? Or do you need a third spool valve fitted?

There's 4 valves on her. I believe the chest valve will go to the pump but will check when I chat the mechanic. Think only the dump pipe goes to the back end.

Is the spot where the pin hitch goes in for storage high? (It looks a bit high, but I'd be a bit short too) :)

Well wear Reggie, I hope she's lucky for you...

Love the CBM hook ends on yokes, I hate the walterscheid ones found on john deeres, can't get my head around them. The latest CBM's have a little kick out on them so they can't get stuck going down unlike the older ones

There's one design flaw that we've noticed with ours from day one.
If ya have the back window open and the toplink on its holder, ya can't close the rear window.

You have the different cab on the 4 series than the 5H. Either that or wind it down a bit :D

Watch the back end on the 4 series for heating up. I reckon they might get recalled as they don't have a rear end oil cooler like the 5H

Would the top link be winded out a bit or would it be in to the last, I found that on the vision is well, but when the top link is winded in enough it would just close

Would like to be able to feed pit silage and bales at same time. Weightwise would I be able to move/feed the bales with four foot McHale shear grab on front loader 80hp 4wd tractor?

If so, would closing the grab a bit to catch the bale make it awkward to unwrap net and plastic after?

    Thanks!

Put a spike on the back. Shear grab will burst some bales.

I had a 4'4" grab on a 6110 JD and she moved them no bother. Lose maybe 1-2 a year, mostly due to not enough net, as far as I can make out.

Drop the bale in the yard and drive into the circular side of the bale and close the grab slightly(will differ with each bale) and lift into the feed face and close the grab. With a bit of practice, you will have no need to cut any more plastic off as the bale will split in half.

There are a good few videos on YouTube if you give a search or someone here might stick up a link.

Something like this but without the plastic grab.
