Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You want VF to give you an iPhone 5, but you don't want to have to pay for it on contract? Is that correct?

Say you have 2 Toyota cars in your street, both on finance from Toyota, finance is close to being paid up would you expect to go into the Toyota dearer and get a new car for free?

I think not is the answer to that and your OP.

Hi I have been paying 55 for 2 years for an iphone 4 They say I can upgrade to a 5 now... Its really not an upgrade if you have to make another contract for 2 more years....I come from states and you can get free phones with half the price of 55 euros a month..I was wondering how I could bargain with them to get 2 iphone 5 for less than the 55 euro a month for each If that makes any sense Thanks

How is it not an upgrade if you have to sign a new contract when you are getting a new phone?

Also you are equating the €55 to only be phone costs but ignore your network service as well.
Don't see how it can be done differently in the US as the phones have to paid for.
Why would you go for the 5 and not the 6?

Shouldn't this be in the Vodafone forum?

The iPhone 5 is $99 upfront and $45 per month on Verizon, the €55 includes VAT at 23% so you're actually paying €45 ex VAT (c.$43 per month).

The networks have to buy the phones, the Apple phones are very expensive and the cost must be covered over the period of the contract

You can get the iPhone 5C for free on the €35pm plan
