You wouldn't even be able to drive that with the way the tyres are stretched and then the really low profile.

Why do I get the feeling that cage isn't adequately bolted down, too much wrong there to attempt to list.

    It’s a “show” cage.

I.e. it’s probably made from plastic pipe.

The state of the dash in the Celica, I'd probably die of respiratory issues if I sat in it.

Them 190bhp ones were fun to drive, shame how it ended up.

    5k? Wow

I like the seats in the Audi. That rollcage is so stupid. Can you even get into the back of it?

Going by the pictures yes, but very awkwardly.
I won't lie I kinda like it takes me back to my childhood when you'd mod $hitbox$ on need for speed and I like the yellow.

The celica actually could make a decent car after a lot of work and handing it off to some poor soul to decontaminate the interior.

Neither worth the sight of the asking prices.

Audi ad also states at the bottom that car runs and drives perfectly..............wait for it......................wait... . ...... ... ...... ..... ...... ....except for a sticking caliper (like that's a minor issue!)

Wouldn't be the first vag car to suffer from that issue...

“Will have to be trailered away”. No test and a stuck caliper.
Should be trailered to the local scrap yard and baled.
I like the bit where he says he will “listen to sensible offers”

    I know too well!

I certainly wouldn't have described my car at the time as driving perfectly that's for sure!

You can almost sense the celica sellers slow realisation of "what the hell have I done?" as you read through that ad, right up to the point of capitulation at "I've no more time"...

5 years and at the end he couldn't face the NCT. That should have been his crowning glory.

Likewise stumbled into this gem of a thread.

    Mullingar he says !

In all fairness must thank the seller for informing us what that puke purple is called (candy purple) and what the brightest yellow (vegas yellow) that really would only look good on a Lambo in some sunny climate.

I have seen better arches tacked onto an old Dahaitsu Fourtrak that was being only used offroad.

BTW what the fook is it with the love of purple by these eejits.

If the pic of the silver celica was what the car looked like before they bastardised it they should be shot for it.
It looked cool and then they made a complete balls of it.

A 3.0 litre V6 Sierra that looks like it had the original body kit. Not my cup of tea but I don't really see anything wrong with it.

Edit: on a closer look it's a bit of a **** body kit, still a half decent car for what it is. Not a Cossie by any means but I'm sure there's a collector somewhere interested.

I know it does look a little ill fitting in the front and may be bit ott.
But in comparison to the look of it now it looks great.

There was once a celica around my neck of the wood similar to the silver one above and it had no word of a lie a rear spoiler mounted 3/4 the way up the bonnet. How anyone could honestly drive it around is beyond me.

Don’t they make a horrible petrol cap for them as well?

The TTE stuff for regular Toyotas was very bad too.

Yes, a see through trd petrol flap so you could the trd petrol cap. I think alot of the parts were styled like some of the aftermarket mods of the time, which don't really age well

"No big rust on the car". The suspicious bastad that I am makes me think that suggests small rust on the car.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
