Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's been useless for years now tbh. Palace the only team with decent noise

My God what a fucking boring game with zero atmosphere. It would be awful to be there.

Crowd terrible yet again you can hear every player shouting

That can also be down to microphone positioning too.

Probably the goals he scored to keep them in the league...just a hunch though.

He has now proven himself to be of not much use.

    Crowd pathetic again tonight.
I thought the geordies and the fact it was a late kick off might help. Embarrassing.

I have found this game anything but boring as calamity could happen at any moment.

It's really nothing to be getting embarrassed about, no need to over react.

John Carver managing a team that contains Mike Williamson makes me sad.

50 beans a ticket, theres been protests against the prices for a while now. Away crowds are usually decent, home atmosphere has been crap for ages.

    Wow, embarrassing? WTF.

Minute's silence and reception for Guitterez was something to make any Liverpool fan proud.

To the people complaining about the atmosphere, is this your first time watching a Monday night game at Anfield? It is ALWAYS like this for these non-weekend games. Less ''regular'' fans, much more out of towners who dont get involved in the songs, the same tourists who would rather watch the match through their phones.

    Its nothing new, believe me.

Don't think the game was that bad to be honest. Been plenty of goalmouth action anyway. Even if most of it was bad defending and poor finishing.

    Newcastle are safe
    Nothing to play with
    Liverpool are nervous
    A lot to play for
    Crowd reflects

Last season he proved himself to be of use to Sunderland though, hence missing him.

And another red in this fixture

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,363 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Our defenders have been half asleep this half.

I know Newcastle are bad, but even they might score if you turn away from the ball in the box.

Red card has been a feature of this game down the years

    and there we are :)

    Terrible foul by the way

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

    Straight red that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    Pathetic from Sissoko.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

    That's a straight red, nearly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

    Straight red for that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

That should be a straight red and a 3 game ban.

Instead its only a 1 game ban.

    Pathetic tackle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Sissoko started walking off almost immediately. Lucky it wasn't a straight red.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

How is that not a straight red.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,723 ✭✭✭bazual

And there it is, Sissoko just did what I want to do to Ashley but a little harder and higher.

    Awful tackle, really poor.

Straight red it should have been

Poor refereeing. Straight red all day.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,948 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

That was very dangerous, should've been straight red

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 2,839 ✭✭✭Caovyn Lineah

6 reds in the last 6 games newcastle have played against us. It was easy money for any gambler.

    Good call.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

That's a bloody straight red ffs. What's this second yellow bullsh!t from the ref about!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,404 ✭✭✭✭Vicxas

Sterling needs to work on his striking. Big time.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,438 ✭✭✭livinginkorea

How many chances does Sterling need!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Leading by example there Sissoko. If you're not bottling big games you're losing the head.

    Stupid.

Referee bottled that! It should have been a straight red.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,363 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Rodgers should sneak into the away dressing room now while they're all still playing and sign Sissoko up for next season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Should have been a straight red really.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Dirty from Cissokho...especially on a former teammate.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,516 ✭✭✭Outkast_IRE

Sterling can feck off with big wage demands until he learns how to finish those sort of balls

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,882 ✭✭✭✭klose

Henderson's delivery is really lovely, I'd like to see him take corners rather than Coutinho.

Think that tackle and subsequent walking off before the referee had even reached into his pocket sums up Newcastle since around January. Everyone to a man appears to have given up.

Do you think Sissoko will still be there come the end of the summer transfer window?
