Had a technician out this morning to replace a broken line, did the job without delay but told me that it was my responsibility to cut nearby branches.

I was under the impression that like the ESB, line rental covered all maintenance of the lines including cutting of trees that interfere.

    Thanks

    Hi zetecescort

Line rental does cover the maintenance and up keep of lines on the eircom network I can confirm that line rental would not cover works of that nature, While I do see why you would feel this way ultimately it's at the responsibility of the land owner to arrange trees/bushes to be kept to relevant size.

    Thanks
    Al
