Wooden crates banned in Europe?

    Has anyone ever heard about wooden crates being banned from
    carriage in Europe?
    Wanting to send smallish crate from Ireland to Slovenia- is professional crate
    , heat treated with all the required stamps on the wood.
    Any advice much appreciated :)
