Evidence of Liquid Water on Mars

Interesting article in The Guardian suggesting that there is evidence for liquid water on Mars... http://www.theguardian.com/science/2015/apr/13/nasas-curiosity-rover-finds-water-below-surface-of-mars I wonder if this is a big step closer to finding evidence of microbiobial life.

Seriously though this isn't the first evidence of water on Mars. This shows what looks like water flows from 2011 taken by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter:
