Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey,

Myself and the kids planted 6 strawberry plants, but they aint looking great ?! Anyone know whats happening?

I planted them in farmers manure compost as per the shop worker and I did put Miracle grow on them, but didn't think that might be a good idea after I did it, anyway are they ok or will they die?

    Cheers

Farmyard manure is not good for planting plants in containers. A good quality compost is the best.

I'd take them out of the fym and replant them. There seems to be some growth in the centre so they might recover - although the roots might be damaged.

Don't feed them until the recover.

The other issue if the plants were not hardened off would be that they have been scorched by the cold nights.

They don't look all that bad, but I would agree that you probably over did it with the feed. Strawberries tend to be resilient in my experience so you should be OK.

No bother. They should be ok. Cut off the leaves that are very damaged.

    Enjoy your strawberries and cream!
