    Hi,

Anyone have any idea about getting tickets for the Olympics next year?

There is a part on the website where all Brazilian residents can apply for tickets, there is also another bit where it says tickets outside Brazil need to go through authorised resellers. There is then a list of resellers for various countries and Ireland isn't on the list at all?

Anyone know anything about it? can't seen to find much online about it either.

    Thanks

    Hey

Only Brazilian's or those with Brazilian address and Brazilian credit card can buy tickets from the IOC directly.

In every other country, an offical agent is appointed. CoSport who are agent for about 5 countries had their ticket buying window last week. Any they have left are being sold on 1st come 1st serve basis next Tuesday (tomorrow) at 3 pm Irish time.

The Irish agent is THG Sports who have no details of when they will be selling tickets yet. I have emailed them twice but no reply.

Have got some tickets through my OH family in the US - only one Athletics morning session and 5 other random events (basketball, boxing, Dressage, horse jumping and canoe slalom). Hoping to get more in the sale on Tuesday. If have a UK address and credit card you can use get on to CoSport website (can;t post link as not enough posts yet!)
