    Hiya,
I recently got efibre in and now have a major issue with the connection dropping all the time. I've attached the system log from the F2000 modem showing the DSL connection activating and deactivating seemingly randomly. I work from home a lot so a stable connection is really important to me. Please can someone get back to me urgently. Thanks.

Did you get this sorted kcools? Something similar happening here. If so could you please let me know how? I'm sure it's either a line or modem issue but whenever a technician comes out and plugs in his meter it's says the line is fine and he shrugs and signs off on it.

Technicians had to do something in my local cabinet - didn't sort it out 100%, the connection still drops far too often but it has improved significantly. Just keep at them! Hope you get it sorted.

Thanks for the response! Does it drop out for long when it disconnects? And does power cycling help? Here it can be for an hour or two and no amount of resetting seems to help, you just have to leave it, so I think it might be something at the cabinet all right.

Can drop out for anything between 5 mins to 30mins, generally only 5 mins at a time, but once it starts it tends to do it for the next couple of hours - up for 5 mins, then down for 5 ad nauseam. Really annoying. Power cycling doesn't seem to make any difference - on occasion I do it, but that's more so I at least feel I'm doing something rather than just staring at the modem, willing it to reconnect!

Very sorry to hear of the regular occurrence of this kcools

I would highly advise getting in touch with technical support when the spate of connection loss incidents occur
