    There are limits, google it and you'll see (it depends per airline/region so to much to spell out here). Main rules are: not in checked luggage (only carry-on) and the battery pack should clearly state the capacity/output voltage, even better if it states Wh but many don't I think. Anything under 100Wh should be fine. If it doesn't state anything it could be refused/confiscated although it seems the Asia region/airlines are more strict than anywhere else.
