Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Saw United 11, thought Smalling & Jones were playing up top. :(

1-1 and a very cagey affair with United having the majority of possession and Chelsea just sitting back and closing up shop for the counter attack.

Can see lots of goals if both teams lineup without any keepers.

If Stoke can score against Chelsea from 65 yards,is there any point in them having one?

Chelsea team I reckon will be

    Tbo
    Ivan Cahill JT Azp
    Zouma Matic
    Ramires Cesc Hazard
    Drogba

Jones, Carrick, Rojo and Blind out for tomorrow. We won't be taking any points from this game

Yeah, I'd agree with that except swap Happy out for Mikel. I'd say it'll be conservative enough from TSHO.

    1-1 draw.

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,754 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

Be funny if Chelsea goes defensive given United will have only one proper first team centre back.

Chelsea by the odd goal if we are missing the 4 players LVG said were out.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,061 ✭✭✭irishfeen

Slim Chelsea win - Blind, Rojo, Jones and especially Carrick are massive losses to United.

Chelsea to play for a draw and get burned. 3-1 united.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Chelsea have lost just one of their last 13 games in which Mike Dean has officiated (W6, D6).

    Banker to lose :pac:

Jose will bore united into submission.
    1-0 to the Chelsea Blues!

The day Fellaini puts one hand on the Balon D'Or as he fires United into the title race is upon us

Every chance of that team, for certain TSHO won't want to lose then maybe try and win it later on. This could be a classic or a snooze fest still fact we are not playing well is a concern it is way too long since we had a decent game.

1-0 win nice early goal then close it up will do nicely.

2-1 Chelsea with the injuries United have.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,478 ✭✭✭ronjo

Chelsea to win as they are better team. Simple as that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,603 ✭✭✭grumpymunster

Ah the day of a match, studying all but done for the day (damn you photovoltaic damn you to hell).

Feeling real confident about this game which is really unlike me think Chelsea win going away.

Surely they have maximum points this season so? :)

United to march on despite the disruption of the injuries. Further proof the Van Gaal revolution is gathering pace.

Chelsea to put United back in their place and stop the chat of a 'title push'

I know sarcasm doesn't always travel well through the medium of text but c'mon... Where have you seen genuine 'title push' chat?

Will we see something like this? I fear Matic will bully our midfield unless he gets Fellaini'd.

Large white lettering on the pitch? Unlikely I'd say :p

I fear with that formation Rooney would give in to his attacking instincts and leave the centre backs very exposed when Chelsea break. McNair especially could do with Blind/Carrick ahead of him shielding the defence a bit... :(

    Scrap the cap!

I'd prefer Blackett at CB and McNair in DM but I guess playing both of them won't happen.

Agree with this 2-1, 2-0 or 1-0 to Chelsea.

Hoping United front 6 will blitz them somehow, but they're not playing against Spurs, Liverpool or lazy City this time.

    :(

Chelsea have not been great lately and should have lost to QPR

Just an outstretched arm at a convenient hight.

    .................. ... De Gea..........
    Valencia.. Smalling.. McNair.. Young
    .......... ....Herrera.. Rooney..........
    ... Mata............Fellaini........ Di Maria
    ......................... Falcao.................

    That's what I'd go with.

I dunno if I'd trust Mata on the right, he'd need to put a shift to help his fullback with Hazard.

    Mata? Track back??? lol.
At least this will be our last year of having to face DeGea in goal in the PL

He's doing a shift for United recently, although its more of high intensity pressing than tracking back. The fans and LVG are happy with him anyways.

At least it will be the last year of facing Rooney, Fellaini, Mata and Young for you(Chelsea) this season too :)

These are obviously the thoughts of someone who's seen fúck all of Mata in the last year, let alone the last few weeks. You must have missed the Manc derby last week also.

On DDG, are United or Chelsea getting relegated?

Ill break it down for you.

Your post implied that DDG is a big player for United, the key man, and has kept you out before.

I'm outlining that Mata, Rooney, Fellaini and Young are and have been more important than De Gea for United the last 6-8 games or so.

In saying all that, you should fear them also and be glad its the last time you play them also
