2 brews from kits (Milestone IPA and Coopers APA) used supplied yeast, first left in primary for 10 days, bottle conditioned in the house for 2 - 3 weeks, 4 weeks in the shed and finally 2 weeks in the fridge. Brew temp indoors fluctuated between 17 and 21 degrees.

I'm getting a strong Acetaldehyde smell / taste off both, more prominent with the Milestone APA. The Coopers is just about drinkable but the smell is a little off putting, I'm thinking of binning the Milestone though. The bulk of both brews are in the shed right now.

Does the Acetaldehyde aroma dissipate over time, chances that time will save the brews?

If its from the brewing process it should, but it can also be a sign of infection

    "4 weeks in the shed"

A couple of cold night may have knocked out the yeast before it was finished conditioning the bottles. Might be would with inverting the bottles to re-suspend the yeast and leave some where warm
