    Does anyone know the name of it? Have seen it the past few nights ... it's really bright!

    With a telescope you could see Venus has phases just like the moon.

    The Moon would have set by 10pm or so last night, be up a bit later tonight
    You could just see Aldebarran behind the moon last night. You can see how the moon moves by checking tonight.

    Not as bright as Venus, but within five degrees of the moon last night was Jupiter.
