Twin Fluorescent Batten 58W

Anyone got an idea if 1. is the transformer replaceable on this item and 2. If not the aprx cost to replace the unit ??

The one I have installed is Galaxy Components Ltd, Model FLU58HF, 2 x 58 High Frequency, Voltage 200-230v, Power 2 x 58w, Supply Frequency 50 htz.

If transformer cannot be replaced and I need a whole new unit can anyone advise a unit to buy (link perhaps?)

You seem to be looking for an electronic ballast, most wholesalers sell them or can get them in for you.

If you get a different make/model be careful as the wiring varies a little sometimes.

I don't know the prices but I suspect there isn't a lot in the difference between a complete fitting and just the electronic ballast. (Years of working in maintenance where we usually never saw the prices)

Cheers, needed one without covers as its to match the other, the ballast might be the way to go. TKS
