Should i waive my right to tax free lump sum at retirement

    I am being made redundant from my job and have the option of taking the current value of my pension lump sum payment.
    I am still 22 years from retirement. Should I accept this and waive my right to a lump sum payment tax free at retirement? Amount at the moment adds 14k to my redundancy payment?

    You need the 14k now? If wo yes, if not definitely not.
