Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

character X is a psychopath. one individual (sometimes more) is blind to the fact that X is a psychopath, seeing only the best in them. character B knows early on that X is a psychopath and is one of the only characters who can see it, and does everything in their power to convince the individual (and others who need convincing) that X is not what they seem, but they are having none of it. nobody believes character B's claims about X even though they are true, often not finding out until it's too late or someone gets killed by X. X is often a master manipulator, incredible at blending in and disguising their true colours under a false act of charm and charisma. X and B often engage in mind games as X poisons people against B. slowly but surely X's true nature is revealed and B is finally proven right, ending in a violent climax.

any others feel free to share, I love a good cliché.

What kind of mental case uses X and B as their two variables? The other posters might not know it yet, OP, but I'm on to you!

Create a GUI using Visual basic to track his IP. I hear that works.
