My wife is 12 weeks pregnant.

Yesterday she had vaginal bleeding and went to hospital as she's worried due to a previous miscarriage.

The scan reveals a heart beat but no movement which has us worried.

Can anyone provide us any knowledge or guide for this kind of case.

The doctor and mid wife told her to go home and if the bleeding gets worse, she should return but the case is that the bleeding still there but not heavy.

We have a pre arranged scan on Monday morning next so all we can do is wait till then which is not good as we do not know if te baby is still alive or not due lack of movement on scan yesterday

You are still concerned so I would ring the hospital and tell them she is still bleeding and what should you do. Must be terribly from frightening for you both. Fingers crossed for you.

better to head back in to the hospital or at least ring them as Blingy said given that the bleeding is still there

Think Positive thoughts!! All sorts can happen in the early days and you could still have a viable pregnancy. Hopefully the scan on Monday will put your mind at ease. Best of luck I know the next few days won't be easy. Be good to yourselves.

Apologies OP but we cannot give medical advice here. Please speak to your GP or midwige/consultant if still concerned. Thread closed.
