Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all

On the second day of new set of Campagnolo wheels and there is a rattle sound front the front wheel when i hit any bumps. I've checked the spokes by hand and they seem fine, haven't used a spoke key to tighten them.

Anyone any help or have same issues.

    Cheers.

Loose hub cone? Does the wheel move side to side on the axial/hub?

Is the QR skewer tight enough?

I think so. From all the wheels i've had before, it would be about the same tension. I'll take the wheel off and remove the skewer and reset it, but really sounds like the spokes even though they seem fine.

Think i might have found the problem. The hole for the valve seems to have been drilled a bit off center. I'm using halfords tubes with the long valve and they have no nut to keep them tight to the rim. When i wiggle it around there is plenty of movement.
I'll try another tube and see what happens.

Just take a nut off another tube, instead of changing it out.

The valves don't allow you to put a nut on them. I've only seen this on halfords tubes and have never had a issue with them before.

There are no threads for the nut on the long valves

Electrical tape around the valve will stop the annoying noise.
