Straus seems to be really having with his throwing since coming back, hopefully he'll sort it soon!

Didnt think the number made a difference for lock. But he generally plays 4 doesnt he?

It's so easy to defend against Leinster. Pathetically predictable.

    No try I think

    If that's a try, that's incredible.

I think he grounded that. If he did that was excellent work from Gilroy.

What a tool is Jim Neilly, his feet were in touch weeks before the touchdown

Some subs on now. What about Reddan - Boss is painfully slow.

So biggest (only) positive tonight for me so far is the Irish out half situation is as clear as ever now. Jackson is miles ahead of Madigan and Keatley

I don't think there has ever been any doubt about that tbh. Jackson's been a level above both for years.

And then he goes and does that :D

    That's it hopeless

I remain thoroughly unconvinced that Jackson is of international standard.

    Another unforced error. Horray!

Last week was an aberration. Leinster are rubbish.

I was afraid when broke his arm that he wouldn't be back in time to get good time this season and potentially only get a bit pre- WC. Thankfully he has gotten back early enough to prove he's second choice going into the games

By the way i think our Fair Play position is fooked!

Unforgivable from D'arcy. Never should've missed that tackle.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Good covering tackle from Kearney. Kind of had to hold on there and chance it.

Do you rate him higher than the alternatives?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

I remain thoroughly unconvinced that Jackson is of international standard.

He's played well at international level before... his skillset is superb. He's not as good as Sexton clearly, but his pass, his ability to make the right decision... he's on a different level completely to his competitors. Obviously I'd prefer he didn't have to start but if he did, I'd have faith in him.
