Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, i'm thinking of getting myself a venge, i currently have a tarmac 105, but would like to upgrade to something new (n+1 never stops) I've spotted one online with a good discount, thing is I've never actually ridden one, does anyone on here have any experience with a Venge? I don't race, but normally ride 75k-100k spins, if i don't get the bike, i'll probably stick with the tarmac for another year, nothing else really takes my fancy at the minute, not really looking for alternatives,

I've owned both a tarmac and venge in the past. I really loved the venge, it was very light and very stiff and responsive. It is a very race orientated setup so it wouldn't suit everyone for longer rides although I never had any issues. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the venge to anyone...

... In saying all that I would/ will probably go back to a tarmac on my next big purchase. I can't really say why, maybe cos it was my first proper/ expensive bike and I have a soft spot for it but for whatever reason I would choose the tarmac next
