Booked cheap flights for family of 5 to poitiers end of may for 4 days , staying half an hour away in some park...any recommendations for things to do?..worth going to beach in la Rochelle etc?..poitiers itself up to much?

No responses but for the record, went to poitiers end of may for 5 days, cheap flights from Shannon, poitiers airport smaller than Kerry.stayed in les forges about an hour away, quite spot. Poitiers is good around the tourist centre up on the hill, the rest of poitiers is dead enough.
Futuroscop worth a vist with kids but wait till after 5 as cost of entry reduces from 42 euro to 20...and you'll see more than enough in 3 hours.
