Were you able defer it for next year aye? Injured I guess

yeah injured alright. Tendons in the hip. Been a disaster of an injury that has dragged for months now. 8months since I have ran properly without pain.

Yeah was able to defer but dunno if I will even take it up. Was planning on running with my sister but she is going ahead to do it this year.

Sorry to hear that man, hopefully you get back fit and can do it next year. Best of luck to the sister, great experience.

Remember that you are only able to defer for one year, so it will be use it or loose it next year.

    Where's the boardsies after party??

Any ideas on a place to meet up afterwards? The Coal Hole was the chosen spot previous years.

It's not far from the finish, although it will feel further after the marathon.

You are also not far from Charing Cross at that point which will give you good connections to whichever underground lines you need to get onto.

I'll try and make the coal hole too so if it has a Guinness Tap !

Anyone firing up a table for this one , it does seem quiet for such a large marathon !

I'm in a panic - I've misplaced my registration form. I think I put it somewhere for safe keeping and can't for the life of me remember where. I can't seem to find a contact email to use to ask about this. Anyone have any ideas?? Anyone know what happens if I show up at the Expo with photo ID but without the registration form?

This is a hassle I could do without.

Numbers 23801 to 29500 are green start,
Numbers 31951 to 57050 and 29501 to 31950 are red start.

I'm in the red start with a GFA time of 2:59:58 for anyone curious about cutoffs. Seems pretty random.

Update - found an email for their help desk and dropped them a mail to ask. Hoping to hear back in a sensible time frame...

You will need the registration form at the expo. Try asking them to email the form to you, have a club mate who moved address at the wrong time to somewhere in the middle of nowhere and their paper form got lost in the post who got it emailed.

Found it, panic over. It was in a drawer I had already checked twice. I'm bringing a whole new dimension to taper madness here

    Ok, let's do this...

    Username|Bib Number|Start Wave|Current PB|Predicted Time|Actual Time
    withcheeseplease|30598|Red|2:59:58|3:04:59|

To add yourself, just quote the above and copy the table section into a new reply with a new line for yourself.

I'm assuming people are basing their wave starts on the above and it wasn't in the registration form or someplace else that I missed? Cos that's all I'm going on! But I'd imagine it'd have to be more obvious than that... Surely I'm missing something glaringly obvious??

EDIT: ok, now that I've bothered to look I can see it here, page 12.
    BLUE START
    Numbers 151 to 23800 and 57051 to 60300 will
have a blue number on a white background and
runners will be on the Blue Start on Blackheath.
You should therefore use Blackheath station.
    GREEN START
Numbers 23801 to 29500 will have a green
number on a white background and runners will
be on the Green Start, which is on Blackheath,
just near St John’s Park. Use Maze Hill station.
    RED START
Numbers 31951 to 57050 will have a red number
on a white background and will be on the Red
Start inside Greenwich Park and should therefore
use Greenwich or Maze Hill stations.
Numbers 29501 to 31950 will have a red number
on a yellow background and will also be on
the Red Start (Fast Good for Age), but located
just outside Greenwich Park. You should use
    Blackheath station.

11 degrees, overcast, potential for light rain showers in the afternoon, wind from the north.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2643743?day=4

Think I'll take that. Although it does mean you'll be cold stood around at the start area, so have extra layers to throw away and a bin bag to wear over your head.
