We're back with a bang on in Pacinos next Friday (Mayday!) for what's set to be yet another cracking monthly party in the cellar and now also the laneway too, where we have invited the Faithful Player crew to curate the night with their own party-friendly brand of upfront disco, funk and house influenced cuts.

In the cellar this month we have decided it's time for our resident-in-chief Mark "The Beard" Clancy to take a bow and close the night on the turntables with his unique take on house music, taking in the classic sounds of the likes of the famous Strictly Rhythm label, as well as more stripped back techno sounds of labels like Osgut Ton - and sure why not throw in a birra feel-good Italo in there too while yer at it. Trust us this man is a great DJ and now is his time to shine.... With great beard comes great responsibility!

As always, here's a little about our guest DJs for the night:

OIS BUTLER DOYLE (Mbrship)

Ois smashed it for us on peak time duties back in November so we're chuffed to have him back again. Training as a sound engineer and an aspiring music producer, Ois Butler Doyle has made a bit of a name for himself around Dublin. His style is focused on deep melodies and rhythmic beats and is influenced by artists from all over, as well as many of the local lads he’s met and befriended since he started out. Some of his most memorable sets to him have been at the likes of Breakfast Club, Housewerk, Torque (er, of course), Koma in Waterford and his own night WALK T&LK and supporting Brawther, Leonid, De Sluwe Vos and Jordan Peak.

FINN MERRINS (Vibe & Stuff)

We spotted Finn DJing at a festival last year and liked what we heard and are delighted to have him on board this month for his Torque debut. Finn first got into dance music when was 16 (ah the nipper) and in general has a huge appreciation for all types of music. For the last 2 years he has also been dabbling at making his own music. When it comes to DJing, Finn likes to drop anything from hip-hop to house to techno. So prepare to be surprised!

FAITHFUL PLAYERS (Al Killian & Barry Ryan) + special guest (TBC)

We're absolutely stoked to have guys on board this month to curate the Laneway Party out back, having also impressed us hugely when they knocked the place silly in the cellar back in October on their Torque debut. The Faithful Players came about when friends and long time DJs Al Killian and Barry Ryan were asked to spin records at The Gravity Bar as part of the Guinness St. Patrick's Day festival in 2013. They played music to over 15,000 people over the course of that weekend and so decided to keep playing as a duo. Following this they have been hosting their own nights since with the Faithful Players Halloween Disco Ball being a big success last year and with a similar night scheduled for 2014. Al goes under the guise of Lasso d'Amore as a producer with various original tracks and re-edits on Soundcloud. Barry is D*A*S*H and has a planned release for later this year on Fruit of Life records.
