Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Its a big concern alright, and surely Lennon sees that too.

I think we’d be better with Hayes lb unltill we buy another lb or until/if Boli improves.

Good win at the weekend. Bain not looking as sharp though. Would still stick with him over Gordon.

Griff is going to be brilliant this season, there's 15-20 goals right there.

Did anyone see what the craic was between Sinclair and their groundsman?

I heard Sinclair had crossed the pitch to sign autographs and pics with fans after the game and the groundsman had a go at him. Apparently the same groundsman had a row with Chris Davies last year

As long as he didn't upset Helen.

Record linking us with Birger Meling as a replacement for KT from Rosenberg.

I'd be happy with that, he looked very good when we played them last year

Ntcham is playing really well, hopefully over his tantrum from last season and we'll see the best of him

Agreed he was excellent again this weekend and looks really sharp right now. No question he is a quality player so if he is truly fully on board and back to his best for the season that would be a massive boost for us.

I was very impressed with him over the course of the 4 games we played against Rosenberg last season so would be happy if we were able to get him in.

Yep - would be more than happy. Boli as backup doesn't sound too bad.

Team for the match, no idea how we're gonna set up?! 3-5-2 at a guess

    McGregor at left back.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,322 ✭✭✭RoryMac

    McGregor at left back.

Wasted there, doesn't suit his qualities at all

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,322 ✭✭✭RoryMac

    F**k sake 0-1, we're struggling here

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,337 ✭✭✭rockatansky

We are absolutely awful here. Totally switched off.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,322 ✭✭✭RoryMac

Ref having a shocker but no excuse for the display we're putting in. We're all over the place, Brown not in the game, McGregor out of position, back 4 all over the place and lots more.

Need a massive turnaround in the 2nd half to get through

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,337 ✭✭✭rockatansky

This is on the Manager, he needs to earn his pay and fix this shambles.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,322 ✭✭✭RoryMac

Nice goal, great composure from Forrest. Hopefully Lennon takes note that it was created by McGregor following the ball into midfield

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,337 ✭✭✭rockatansky

Great goal! All with McGregor getting through the midfield.

Much better since HT, nice finish by Edouard but the defending was awful

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,337 ✭✭✭rockatansky

    Excellent, destroy these cheating bastards.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,322 ✭✭✭RoryMac

Game has really opened up now, a goal for us will kill it but it's risky how we're playing right now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

Lennon showed the board that a left back is a priority signing in this and the last game

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,322 ✭✭✭RoryMac

    Wtf Brown!!!!

Sinclair must be fuming looking at Johnston & Morgan playing ahead of him

Found one...Griffiths was onside there. WTF sort of touch was that?!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,322 ✭✭✭RoryMac

    Embarrassing

Conceded another in injury time to lose 4-3 on the night

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,337 ✭✭✭rockatansky

    Thank you Neil.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,322 ✭✭✭RoryMac

£10m worth of defenders bought by Lennon on the bench tonight! We were a shambles from the start, McGregor isnt a LB as proved last season at Ibrox, Johnston & Morgan not ready for being in the first team.

The Tierney money will be used now to 'plug the gap' left by missing out on the CL.

Maybe Lennon didn't get the tactics right, but for me Celtic are reaping the rewards of a lack of investment over the Summer. As much of a legend as Scott Brown has been he's clearly passed his best, and against decent continental opposition it showed.

The Celtic squad just isn't good enough anymore to progress in Europe unless there is significant investment which doesn't look likely at all. The SPL is so poor they are happy enough just to keep winning it.

Hiring Lennon and again lack of investment point to lack of ambition imo.

What an appalling defensive display that was - deservedly we go out, no excuses

    Shambles...

Bain should not be starting. Then looking towards Morgan to change the game

    That's it 100%

Hiring Lennon was a sign of lack of ambition that's not to say he is totally at fault. We've know we needed to replace Lustig, I'm sure the club were aware months ago Tierney wanted to leave, we need someone in to cover for Brown, Sinclair needs to be replaced, new CB....

Aside from maybe replacing Lustig we don't look to have done any of those things

Who needs ambition when you've £25 million in the bank.

How many times have we sold our best players before the qualifiers and aimed not to replace them until after we qualify? Do the board not realise you only qualify for the CL if you have the players good enough to do so.

Nothing to say really other than shipping 4 goals at home to a team of Cluj's level is pathetic. The days of CP being a fortress and getting results at home v big European sides are long gone. Most Championship sides would gives us a game.

Need to get out of this league, it's as simple as that. We'll not last long in the Europa League if we even get there.

We had £10m worth of Lennon's signings on the bench!

They should be spending 25m net per year. This summer the net spend is - 13m with more sales possible.

    How's that going to happen?

Was it Lennons fault that Brown handled the ball giving away a crucial penalty? Silly nonsense against the manager on social media after a game is not acceptable.

Celtic need to enter the English leagues.

    SPL is too weak.
