Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone experience with a Trek Emonda?

In the market for a new road bike. Was looking mostly at cervelo S3 however I came across a great deal on a Trek Emonda SL6.

I understand this is their lightweight machine, in the category of the R3 or Tarmac variety however just not sure if it will be the correct geometry for my uses.

The highest end Emonda (SLR) comes in a range of geometry (H1 race, H2 middling and H3 endurance), however the middle range Emonda which I am looking at, the SL6 only comes in the H2 geometry which is the middle ground. My main use will be shorter distance rides, 20-40k time trials (not getting a tt bike just yet though as most of my cycling is on a road bike).

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of the fitting of the different geometries of the Trek bikes and would H2 be a bit too relaxed for what I am looking for?
