Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Any route recommendations from Newbridge to the airport? Planning on doing this on Friday morning as I have to pick up a rental car there (costs around €50 apparently just to drop off in a different location to where you hired, feck that). I'm thinking Clane, Maynooth, Dunboyne, that sort of route, but I'm just a bit worried about heavy traffic. Anyone got recommendations for quiet back roads?

This is a lovely route on backroads from newbridge to lucan if thats any help. Lots of turns so a garmin or similar is probably necessary the first time. Lucan to the airport i would probably go through the strawberry beds, pheonix park to phibbsborough then into glasnevin, ballymun and airport but there might be a nicer way outside the m50. http://ridewithgps.com/routes/7660627

Did Dublin > Newbridge and Newbridge > Dublin last week.

    Route

    Phoenix Park
    Strawberry Beds
    Lucan
    Celbridge
    Straffan
    Sallins
    Millennium Park
    Newbridge

Mostly fairly quite roads. To the airport I would go Strawberry Bed, Blanch, Airport

I'm not sure of the best route from Newbridege to Lucan but once you get to Lucan you can head for Clonee, onto Ratoath, Ashbourne, Swords and then to the Airport. It's not a direct route but it's flat enough and nice scenery.
