Hoping to get away for a week during the Summer and I'm looking for some sort of boarding kennel for my 2 guinea pigs.

My parents have in the past minded them for me but my Dad has devleoped an alergy to their awesome fluffiness :(

I'm in the Kildare area but will travel within reason to have them minded.

I've already emailed the DSPCA and indeed they used to provide such a service for small animals, but they only take cats and dogs now.

Dont know of any "kennel" type boarding, but it might be an idea to ring your local vet and see if they know of, or could recommend someone who would come to your house to feed and clean them. We did this years and years ago when we had little pigs, and were recommended a lovely lady, (too long ago now though to remember who she was!).

I leave my rabbits etc with Bairbre O'Malley in Bray. There's also the reassurance that they're with a specialist vet if anything does go wrong. None of my small furries wanted to come home with me afterwards :(

When are you going & is it one cage?

I use Bairbre O'Malley for ours. Sometimes we use a local lady aswell, Sarahs Pet Boarding, she is on facebook.

Never heard of any to be honest. Could you ask one of your friends to take them? Looking after two guinea pigs is pretty straight forward.
