Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Seems like a good enough deal alright, the shifters are the older 6600 shifters with the exposed gear cables but the chainset is 6700 and the fulcrum wheels are well regarded yeah so good spec for the price.

Just in case you didn't spot it, it's a 52cm which would be very small.

Wheels alone are 250e on Wiggle...seems like a lot of after market (good) mods on the bike.

Yea, IIRC an Alpha 1.2 would have come with a 9 speed Sora group set and basic Bontrager wheels.

Is it worth upgrading Trek's entry level ALU bikes?

Don't get me wrong, I love mine, but it seems like a lot of cash to drop on Ultegra and wheels when you could just sell and upgrade.

Good question, I have a Cube attempt and wondering if there's any point in upgrading beyond replacing like for like the 105 groupset.
