Guessing that 3e will be slightly down as will TV3 while be3 will be slightly up. TV3 may not reach double digits.

Good rating for the England v Germany match on 3e - 93,000. They'll be hoping that they schedule a few more decent friendlies over the next year or so. An over reliance on Tipping Point and Catchphrase on the channel though. Reverting back to Travellers shows again, with 3 different shows on them.

Hard to know whether TV3 will be happy with Be3's ratings. The Chase ratings have gone down (mainly due to them being shown on UTVi recently).

The Chase episodes are old ones. It may account for the reason why they are gone down.

TV3 should be getting roughly 200k for the Grand National, given the limited reach of UTV this year, compared to Channel 4 against RTE Two in 2016. Similarly, TG4 should do well with the Dublin v Kerry League final tomorrow.

Too be fair to TV3 there decisions on sport have been spot on, however this is off set by the lower audience for Coro St and their retention of Xpose and TSOCS.

Bualadh bos do TG4 - 642,000 watching Dublin v Kerry yesterday, Journal article also mentions 354,000 average, whether that is for that game alone, or viewership from the start of Galway v Kildare until six o'clock, isn't totally clear:

I'd imagine it was just for the Kerry Dublin match

Why are those notices not in Irish? Or am I missing something about TG4?

I'd imagine they'd rather have something that potential advertisers could understand surely?

I think TV3 are doing another pitch to advertisers tomorrow morning so expect to here massive gains from TV3 in the media.

No sign of TAM to release March figures!

Strange, apart from the soaps, the rest of their ratings haven't risen dramatically?

Not much regarding TV3 made at the event, gathering from the lack of activity on Twitter. More of a Virgin Media pitch really it seems.

Huge rating for the Late Late Country Special - 625,000 according to Medialive. Equally stark drop-off by RTE Two once the Champions League is removed, from 233k to 94k for League Sunday, to 71k for First Dates. 150k perfectly respectable for TV3 with BGT.

TAM Ireland really don't want to update their site :/

I think BGT and IACGMOOH are going to continue to get High viewing numbers, particularly due to their down to earth presentation and the presenters, judges and participants are all up for a laugh. BTG will see increases for the final weeks.

Both The Voice and XFactor are too serious in tone, possibly why DWTS Ireland did so well for RTÉ.

Summer is getting earlier and earlier, RTÉ will pick up next week or the week after with the Eurovision, but to be honest both RTÉ and TV3 really have nothing worth watching.

The Simpsons had 103,000 viewers on Monday with Neighbours getting 69,000 viewers, first time entry!!!!, followed by home and away with 95,000, helped in part by Horseracing which had 192,000.

TV3's Red Rock was down to 115,000. It looks like viewers are now tuning out of Xpose and their is a slight rise for Coro St but Friday at 8:30 had just 228,000 viewers. BGT was up to 199,000 and is likely to increase for the channel over the month.

The Restaurant will be staying on the channel with 112,000 viewers, I can't see normal Masterchef appearing on the channel or a second series of the Celeb version.

TAM still not providing March figures.

TV3 hosted an event for Assassins a new crime series from Donal McIntry (which seems to be a standard doc from TV3, not sure the need to present a preview with advertisers!).

Yes, seems like they're going all out for this one. Lots on Twitter and Facebook regarding it, and their preview the other day. As you said, it moulds into so many Crime documentaries they've did over the year - multiple ones with Donal McIntrye, and others like 24 Hours to Kill. Wednesday 9pm slot for it, with Gogglebox and Pat Kenny finishing up this week I believe.

just to note that eir sport 1 will always have big increases and decreases each month

e.g. 0.2 one month followed by 0.1 means a drop of 50%, followed by an increase to 0.2 means an increase of 100%!

Yeah with very little effort. Both RTÉ and TV3 need a good kick up the arse it's a pity they've been so lucky in the first 3 months. No real gains for either but no losses.

Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother will do well for 3e over the summer months. Can see that it nearly gave it an extra 1% share in January.
They still need to get away from constant repeated documentaries like Donal McIntyre, Costa Criminals, 24 Hours To Kill.

It's good to see Pointless coming to Irish TV, but I do question why they've gone back to such old episodes. Says Series 5 online, and looking at wiki - Series 5 was recorded in 2012. 5 years ago now, and I'd say some questions are now out of date. BBC currently on Series 17 in comparison.

I don't know the increase in Jan was unusual when you consider previous series which didn't help either TV3 or 3e. It could have been Jedward but it will be interesting to see if it is BB, the big show for 3e will be I'm a celeb which will double their audience.
