First week without TLLS sees Fair City at the top with just 325,000 viewers.

Again RTÉ2 top shows are Sport ranging from 131,000 to 316,000, giving Champions League Live - Live Play:Juventus v Real Madrid second place.

After that for RTÉ2 had 73,000 viewers for Louis Theroux: Savile, with Home and Away at 20 getting just 43,000 viewers.

TV3 range was from 142,000 viewers to 289,000 viewers. BGT ranged from 142,000 viewers to 199,000 viewers, Coro Street from 224,000 to 289,000 viewers and Emmerdale 158,000 viewers to 192,000 viewers. No sign of any of the 3 final episodes to Red Rock. No Irish programming entering the top 20.

On Red Rock I work out.

If TV3 have 26 more eps from Series 3 to go, They air 10 before Christmas and 16 from end Feb to end May, they could hold of make a decision to axe the show until next summer. Though IMO that decision has been made.

Also they are repeating it from the begin late night/early mornings on be3 since Monday. Surely it could take over from Six O'Clock Show!

Has Masterchef appeared in RTE2s Top 20 over the past while? It's on nearly every weeknight for an hour, yet it's ratings are terrible, for what is a prime time for viewing.

Best decision TV3 could EVER make is bringing back "Nightshift".

2 exceptions to sport on RTÉ 2 with the Eurovision Semi getting 194,000 on average for both nights, and cool runnings having 97,000 viewers.

TV3's Policing Paddy's had 135,000 viewers over the month. While Red Rocks average on Monday night was 139,000 viewers with the 3 final episodes getting just 113,000 viewers.

TV3 news at 5:30 retains 100,000 viewers, FA Cup had 130,000 with Europa league getting 259,000 viewers, Champions League final on RTÉ2 had 269,000 viewers.

Coro St top 3e's top 20 with 142,000 when it swapped places with TV3 on Wednesday night (you think that be3 would be the channel to swap it with!!), next most popular show had 50,000 viewers for Bridget Jones' Diary, with 13 movies taking up the top twenty. The lowest show on 3e was The Hangover with just 24,000 viewers 11pm Tuesday night.

The Chase topped be3's top 20 with an average of 40,000 viewers. Islanders had just 21,000 viewers at number 20. Repeats of Emmmerdale and Coro St ranged from 23,000 to 30,000 viewers. Notably the repeat of Coro St on Monday May 1st took over from 3 News at 10 which did not make the top 20, the same for 3 News at 7.

Watch TV3 drop both the 7 and 10 news.

Ireland v Austria tops weekly ratings, with Galway v Mayo second (wonder if the latter's rating factors in half-time switchers to the soccer?).

So it looks like RTÉ have moved all GAA over to RTÉ ONE this helps RTÉ ONE retain last years audience as the rest of their schedule is pretty much down. RTÉ2's coverage of the confederation cup gives them an excuse to move GAA to ONE but audiences range from 46,000 for NZ V RUS and 88,000 for CAM V CHI.

Top show on 2 was The Sunday Game with 117,000 followed by Home and Away with 88,000 viewers. The lowest audience for Home and Away was 47,000 viewers with the number 20 on RTÉ2 getting 44,000 for the film The Butcher Boy.

Coro St is holding its own but no massive increases in audience ranging from 235,000 viewers to 294,000 viewers. Monday night edition of Xpose had 111,000 viewers. The Loch which aired on itv the previous day had 129,000 similar to Red Rock audience which it replaces.

VB ranges from 90,000 to 108,000 viewers. With the Celebrity Chase getting just 83,000 viewers.

That was me, being a fool, by posting about my dog issues in the TV ratings forum !

What I was going to say wass, how does a show like Goodbye House get so many viewers. Just goes to show - put anything on RTE 1 and it'll gather viewers.

No matter how crap, it will still find a ( sizeable ) audience.

Pretty decent for The Loch on TV3. Fearless on Wednesday hot faring well though. They must be very disappointed with Assassins. Put a lot of promotion behind it, but I guess TV3 have overdone a lot of these 24 hours to kill, Gangland Ireland, Gangsters at War, Beware Ireland type of documentaries.

Again, how does Masterchef stay on a prime slot on RTE2 for few days a week and not get above 45,000 viewers.

Yes you could say summer time is here but we can only say that for sure based on audience share, if it is a case that RTÉ ONE retains 18% of the audience they can happily point to the summer. But if they are down at 15% then well its just RTÉ.

Not that TV3 can be too happy with its preimere channel. TV3 this week look very similar to UTV Ireland back in the day. With their top 12 shows coming from itv, with 7 episodes of Emmerdale!!!

As for RTÉ2 well the confederations cup really isn't bring in the audience. With 91,000 watching GER V CHI and 49,000 watching NZ V MEX.

The big mystery is why the Sunday Game highlights programme is rating so poorly - perhaps casual GAA fans not tuning in until the football quarter-finals in August?

Will be interesting to see how 3e will get on this month when the monthly figures are released. it's possible that BB and LI are taking a portion of the regular TV3 viewers.

Looks like they're giving up on Be3 for the summer. Repeats of Downton Abbey, 16 Kids And Counting, Deception, Britain's Biggest Hoarders, Victoria, Four In A Bed dominate the schedule. While so much of ITV Studio's catalogue remains unshown. Feels like we took one step backward when UTVi took over UTV's position, and now we're a further 2 steps back after TV3 took over the UTVi mantelpiece.

I don't see LI being a big ratings winner for 3e but BB will be interesting particularly since its good showing for CBB the question is "was that down to Jedward?"

114,000 for a highlights programme is typically good.

Not having it on at the same time as ITV2 will hurt it. the show is getting a lot better press in the UK than BB - unsure how it translates to the Irish audience though.

3e have messed up their schedule twice in the past 2 weeks, by having BB in the schedule at 9, but it was shown at 10, while LI swapped into the 9pm slot. Virgin Media guide didn't even update. Recently happened last Sunday.

Clearly they see like UTV Ireland that they need the simulcast.

LI is doing better than BB according to BARB

And this was a show that was axed in 2006 because of poor ratings and wasn't as big as BB??

Giles should get a sizeable audience on RTE One tonight.

Yeah during the summer these docs seem to top RTÉ1 list, last week was Too Old For The Road? which topped the top 20 shows overall.
